They love it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then\u2026 <strong>Silence.<\/strong> oops!\ud83d\ude14\ud83d\ude14\ud83d\ude14<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deal stalls. The champion goes ghost. You follow up, asking, &#8220;Did you get a chance to see the new features?&#8221; and they reply with something vague like, &#8220;We&#8217;re still reviewing it internally.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What went wrong?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You fell for the <strong>Feature Fallacy<\/strong>. You assumed that showing the <em>product<\/em> was the same thing as selling the <em>deal<\/em>. In small SMB sales, that might be true. But in major enterprise sales ($50k+ ACV), the product is only the entry fee.
