No, all you did was purchase stuff at a lower price. This is not income, this is a reduced expense. No tax obligation exists. The vendor's motivation to offer you a discounted price is irrelevant.

The situation may be different if an employer offers a discount to some or all of its employees that is not available to non-employees. In this case this may or may not be considered a taxable benefit. Rules for such determination will differ between jurisdictions; here's an example for Canada.
