I've played with codewars.com in the past, which was quite fun. No idea how they're doing now, but worth checking out.

A useful site, with security information every programmer should know: hacksplaining.com. I mention this because in my experience many programmers think of security as something they'll check afterwards, and then forget. It should always be a first consideration.

I know two sites that can test your language, JavaScript, and they are:

These sites have many challenges for JavaScript and many other scripting languages, and I use both of these sites. If you like to try hard and difficult but more interesting challenges, choose CodeForces, but if you like simpler problems, then your best choice is hackerrank.

And for HTML, CSS and other styling languages, search for "Website examples" in any search engine and choose images, and you will find many website images you can try to make like.

In terms of testing and practicing your hands-on skills in a remote and on-the-go way, try one of these leading websites:

  • CodePen: The best place to build, test, and discover front-end code.

  • JsFiddle: Test your JavaScript, CSS, HTML or CoffeeScript online.

The purpose of these methods is to familiarize you with the actual runtime, thought process, and building process through practical application.

Keep it up!

I like the way you point out security. I agree.
