App fails to correctly read 250 steps per hour from the device

At least once a week the app shows I missed getting the 250 steps in an hour even though the device shows that I didn’t. It has happened twice in the last 4 days and too many times to count in the last few months. Why in the world doesn’t the app just read the data from the device and record it correctly. This is a VERY poor job of coding something that should be incredibly easy to do. PLEASE FIX THIS!
