Room for improvement but overall helpful

The biggest thing that has helped me where other apps and programs have failed, is the inclusion of a full, dynamic meal plan complete with ingredients lists and instructions. This has enabled me to cook almost every meal for the last few weeks rather than hemming and hawing between shopping for what I like and meticulously having to calculate every meal’s nutritional value. So far my quality of life has improved from that alone, and showing fat, carbs, and protein alongside calories without having to do extra work helps me understand my diet much better.
It isn’t perfect. Sometimes I take a picture of nutrition facts on products and the app will add thousands of calories to my daily intake despite the item only being around a hundred or so. I also wish it allowed for the saving of your own meals by combining nutrition from multiple pictures. If there’s a single smoothie or sandwich I make several times a week, it would be so much easier to save all the info about that meal/snack/drink and just log that one item anytime I have it. Instead you either have to rebuild it with new pictures and entries, or you have to go back to the last day you had it and individually copy each ingredient over to today.
Sticking with this, because as someone who’s struggled with weight my whole life this is the first thing I’ve been able to (mostly) effortlessly stick to.
