The present paper evaluates the efficiency of UAV systems in suppressing fires in industrial warehouses, a complex environment characterized by high thermal loads and severe limitations for human intervention. The main objective is to demonstrate the capability of drones to stabilize environmental parameters and to define the optimal technical requirements for their development. The study employs computational modeling using the PyroSim software to simulate the dynamics of a fire in an industrial warehouse. The methodology is based on the comparison of two scenarios: the natural evolution of a free-burning fire and the active intervention of a group composed of four drones. The analysis of the results confirms that the action of UAV systems effectively manages thermal energy, reducing the maximum temperature at ceiling level from 270°C to a controlled level of 120°C. This cooling prevents excessive accumulation of hot gases, protects the structural integrity of the building, and maintains optimal visibility at ground level. A major advantage of this research lies in the use of the extracted data to determine the operational parameters of the drones, demonstrating the utility of simulations as a basis for designing equipment adapted to challenging environments. In conclusion, the paper validates the operational performance of UAV groups as an optimal solution for limiting fire sources and highlights the importance of numerical modeling as an essential tool for risk prediction, eliminating the need for direct exposure of intervention personnel in critical situations.
