Overall, I love it. It is really annoying though when you buy the camera and can’t even use it right away because it forces you to sign up for a membership.

This app is so glitchy lately I hate it. It constantly freezes when I switch between viewing kids, when I go to a split screen mode, etc. The Insights were also very inaccurate when I had the free trial so I have no idea why I’d pay for an expensive subscription for something that I imagine is somehow using AI and doing a terrible job at it. Now I just have the “subscribe to Insights” text that is very annoyingly in the way on split screen mode especially and that, I imagine, is a sleazy way to get subscribers who just want that to go away so there’s an unobstructed view of their babies. If I could go back, I would never have splurged on these cameras. They are very much not worth it, especially for twins where you’d have to pay for two overpriced subscriptions for it to be usable.

Camera not turn on and customer service not responding

If you want your baby to sleep and nap well. Get yourself a Nanit. The NextNap feature is incredibly simple and so helpful. There are so many things we have to do and learn as new parents. Nanit has your wake windows covered.

Excellent quality with video and sound. Love all the extra features. We have the stand and it captures the crib perfectly. My biggest complaint is the inconsistency of the app. It glitches and sometimes doesn’t know when our baby is in the bed. Also doesn’t capture the night summary every night due to “not enough data. Must be in crib for 5 hours or more” even when she slept for 11 hours and the sleep and wake times are recorded…

Nanit has jumped the shark.Typical pivot to a tiered plan where most of the capabilities are locked behind the most expensive one.
What’s most egregious is the fact that each camera you own needs its own subscription to avail more advanced features.
You’d think the kicker is the money grab. That’s partially true, but the real insult is that that the platform isn’t any faster, nor is the hardware any better, despite the increased costs.
The audio continues to be weak. App load times and video lag is still real. The video feed is good, but not good enough to warrant the additional costs.
I refuse to continue to give nanit another cent until they show that additional value comes with additional costs.

I like the integration with the camera for nap tracking. The activity log is so useful for tracking nursing, bottles, and diapers. The week view is so helpful to see where my baby’s schedule is.
I wish it saved the nap time logged by the camera permanently, but you lose the data after a few days unless you have an upgraded subscription or log a nap for the same time manually yourself. I also wish there was a pumping tracker and a medicine/other tracker, but we manage those with the notes feature. All in, I did not buy another tracking app and happy with the Nanit app for my baby.
The camera is very sensitive to sounds and motion & the app will notify you of it all. A cool feature is how I am able to listen to the background noise while using other apps & also make the video feed onto a smaller window if I am on another app on my phone but still want to monitor.

Best camera and monitoring system. The breathing monitor gives me so much peace of mind.

I love it, was very glad I happened to hear him one morning at about 6 months old and he managed to pull the cable and conduit off the wall, had the cord in his crib, phoned my son to get in there and remove it until better securing it..we think he’s going to be an engineer, he takes everything apart

Love nanit. Have had it for 2.5 years. The only comment I have is the new icon is so much harder to locate. It blends in too much. Please go back to the OG

The Nanit has been nothing but a headache after we have invested thousands of dollars and have TWO cameras. It is NOT user friendly and despite paying over $120 PER CHILD per year they continue to limit features. The camera qualities also suck. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

we love our Nanit and all the functions. Great cameras, incredible tech and features, we could view baby from Vietnam! Crystal clear. Love it

Love the Nanit and all its features! Calmed my anxiety when I first had my daughter with the breathing band. And love keeping track of her sleep and recommend nap times. I also love that it plays back her growth and morning pick ups

I absolutely love the old version of nanit. I do not like the latest two updates. I miss seeing the nap snapshot on the main page. Now I have to dig through to find the nap summary to see how long they napped for and the times. I will change my review back to 5 Star if things change back or update to something better.

Nanit is helpful and intuitive. It helps us monitor the baby from anywhere in the house and keep track of all the different daily events so that we can keep our little one on schedule.

It was very difficult to use at first and took forever to arrive through Babylist. Also thought I’d be able to have multiple cameras and stands. Lots of additional required fees to be able to get the most use out of.
