When I open the app I can see my two cameras. The app is a bit slow to load the camera previews so by the time you go to tap your top camera in the list the app inserts an advertisement at the last second where the camera used to be. This forces you to tap the ad instead of your camera EVERYTIME.
When I initially started using the app there were no ads. Now there are ads which cannot be disabled.
Eufy, I promise you the following
1. I’ll never buy another product of yours since you like to insert ads in your app
2. Even if I did, it would be on clearance from Amazon or Walmart, not in your app.

After a recent update I can only access one freaking camera. The rest are in but tapping to see the video feed DOESN’T freaking work! Garbage! Trash app!

The app is not working on my MacBook Pro M2 Max.
I did the update on May 26, 2026 and NOW I can not log into Eufy at all.

A terribly unreliable app, keeps deleting the room mapping, and I have to remap the whole house with the robot vacuum. I don’t understand how you can create an app that’s not able to keep the full house saved for more than a month or two. Also, for some reason it takes up two or more gigabytes of storage on my phone.

I’m sorry, but 1.23GBs of space on my phone is insane just to start a vacuum cleaner. You need to split this app back into multiple pieces or store more in the cloud and stream it down to us. This is the 3rd biggest app on my phone, but probably not even the top 15 most used

The app remains huge and takes up a lot of space. What is going on? I have moved on to another vendor and will no longer buy eufy/anker products.

I do love the remote features of the system. The fingerprint door lock is awesome.
The one thing that is super annoying, is that even when I put it on alert for humans only and I give it the lowest setting, this damn app seems to think that a bird a cockroach or even a tiny little spider is somehow a human being.
This damn thing goes off for door alerts nonstop. And 92% of them are absolutely false.
I have since had to turn off all alerts for this doorbell system.

Almost a 2GB app size on multiple devices. App is buggy and flaky and updates are released with little testing sometimes causing the entire setup to behave erratically until the next "update." 6 cameras at one home and 8 at another will be replaced soon along with any other Eufy anything. Pathetic. Jump to any other brand. None has been worse than this.

I recently submitted some feedback to inform the development team that when “humans only” detection is on, inanimate objects are detected as people. I received an automated response with a bunch of useless suggestions. It was clear that no one actually read the message and had telltale signs of an AI chat bot response.

Geofencing rarely works. When I leave it won’t always turn on or when I return it rarely turns off. Sometimes I’ll get one or the other but never both.
App navigation is confusing. For example, I wanted to adjust the pan and tilt settings. My first instinct as a user and with several years of frontend software engineering experience was to find the camera. All I could get to was the video preview. So I tapped the settings button on the camera preview window. Nothing. It turns out you have to disable privacy mode and watch the video stream in order to access the pan and tilt settings.
The UI has five tabs. Two out of five are for their store to try to sell more of their products and services. They could have been condensed into one.
The video preview thumbnail doesn’t update itself. You have to open the preview to watch the live stream to update the thumbnail. It can be unnerving to open the app and see a person there only to realize it was someone who was with you when you left the home.

This app is okay. Finding settings is a chore. Too many promos and ads in the app. But the biggest concern — why is this app over 900MB in file size?!
In all fairness I should say they fixed it on MacOS. It is working again, not fabulous but at least working.
