I see several reviews stating the email backup is not working. For me as well. An old copy of the database is attached to the email.

My Wife and have used this app for a while and generally like it. However the backup / restore email feature has not worked sometime. I use it to email our updated budget to my wife. It send the file to her and the app acts like is loading it, but then nothing changes. Help please. Thanks

I have been using this app since the original version 15+ years ago. It’s been great for me to budget better and see where all my money goes. I would love to see an update where the app can send notifications.

EVERYTIME I open to start a new entry it “crashes” and I have to start the new entry a second time. Never happens the second time…. But it used to be about half the time, now it’s every time I open the app, and start an entry… the entry screen closes and I have to reopen and enter the entry

This app has worked really well… I don’t have any major complaints about it. I do wish we had a little more options to change the colors on some of the fields, but that does not seem to be an option. But the app itself has been pretty spot on.

First, I want to say I do love the app and use it for balancing my checking account. However, something happened and I don’t know how to fix it. I input my payments and when I go to reconcile, I will check as reconciled and then I hide my reconciled items. when I went to pay bills and reconcile yesterday, none of the bills that I paid that were not reconciled showed up, however when I added them back it made my account look overdrawn because they must be there somewhere. How do I find them??? Not happy with this as it’s impossible to balance. Thank you.

This app is simple and easy to use, no manual or instructional video required. It would be helpful to be able to edit the payee list, i.e. delete payees that I no longer use. Just a thought.

I love this app, I’ve been using it for close to 15 years. Please don’t change a thing, it’s perfect. I use this to manage my finances and I absolutely love it, it’s flawless.

Our family has been using this app for years and have loved it. The main reason is that we can send current backups to each other via email. It is also easy to search the database and run reports. After the most recent Apple IOS update, we are no longer able to send backups via email. This is a critical feature and must be fixed or we will have to find another finance app.

Is there a way to have the cleared check box checked in the recurring part of the application that are automatically taken out of the checking account.

3/30/26 - I keep coming back to look at the progress of this app, and now it looks like the developer has abandoned it. Sync was the only real issue I ever had with this app. I really wish Apple would track apps that are no longer being monitored by the developer. Oh well. 2029 -Was a huge fan of Accts 2, but stopped using it just because the sync between devices was not reliable enough. The is one of the, if not THE, best value for the money for a high caliber echeck book manager. (AND, no subs!) So there's my kudos ... Just before Accts3 came out I was thinking of returning to Accts2, and it's been a few years since I've used it. So the question of the moment is: Can I import some AAP databse, like CSV etc. directly into, (or indirectly), Accts3? And if yes, then how? Thanks for a great product and being a good example to your fellow software developers.

It’s almost perfect. It does exactly what I need it to do, keep track of multiple accounts. Very easy to sync between devices. Though I’ve found it easier to keep the app opened on my iPhone when I sync it. Now if there was a laptop version it would be perfect. AND it doesn’t cost an arm and leg like Quicken does.

I’ve been very happy with the app. Recently, a glitch has surfaced which is quite frustrating. When I select Edit to reorder accounts (alphabetizing new accounts, for example) and drag the account from one place to another, then select Done, other accounts are suddenly scattered out of order. Reordering the scattered accounts fails as well. I sometimes get duplicate accounts during this process, making it impossible to discern which is the true account. I have to Restore my database and attempt the Edit again, sometimes dozens of times before it works properly.

This is a great, easy to use app. The only problem is that the email generated when asking to export tr@nsactions doesn’t go through! I really need to export the transactions to excel so that I can sort them. I’d give it 5 stars if thr export would work.

I use this app each and every day, often multiple times a day. It makes it so easy to keep track of my accounts.

Question: after closing some of my accounts, am I able to delete the account in the app, or will it remove the associated transactions by doing so? I’m just starting to get a bit of clutter and would like to clean up.

I have used this and an earlier version for now 14 years. This latest one is the best so far. Only complaint… the icon on iPhone is boring! But great program! Accounts 3 is a great program to stop me from accurately track bank and debt accounts! Must have.
