The app is bugged, and it appears I'm not the only one with this issue. After logging in, there is only a blank screen with a grey line at the bottom. This problem has existed for months at this point, and even with software updates, has not been addressed. I am now seriously considering switching away from BofA due to how unreliable this app is.

It does a fine job of checking my balance but nothing special that it needs to be almost 500mb. Maybe I’m missing all the exciting functionality in there somewhere.

Your app shows me numbers that it needs an internet connection to find. You do not need to take up 500 megabytes of local storage space on my device. Your software engineers are lazy.

Please, please, please fix the app so the notifications number goes away after you've viewed them. This has been going on at least two years. There are even Reddit threads about it. When you fix it, I'll give you more stars.

For some reason every time I log in it asks for my debit card info and social. Makes me reset the password. Maybe the update??

I tried to chat live to get a simple answer for my question. When it connected me to a real person, there is about a full minute wait before anybody actually typed anything. After the first response, the person took a full two minutes to respond for the next one. In their first response, they also said “I see you have a question about card information? “ I never said this and I never selected it. I have no idea where this came from so I had to re say my question. They made it a point to not answer my question directly. They actually just said “I see that you have a question about this”. And then there was another full minute before they said anything else. I asked a very simple question and it was very clear and I don’t know why people do this in customer service. It is so unprofessional and aggravating. Eventually, they were able to tell me that I have to call in and do this on the phone. But it took them about two paragraphs to say this. It also took them forever to answer. What could’ve been a six minute conversation has been about a 20 minute text conversation. This person could be anywhere doing anything. They could be literally having sex and just doing this on their phone in between ejaculations. They could be playing a video game or driving. There’s no accountability. The answer answers took forever and they weren’t real answers. It was a terrible chat experience and very aggravating and now I have to call in and spend more of my time doing it.

Still an issue. After Face ID, the screen goes blank white except for a thin gray line at the bottom. There is no way around it, and force quitting the app does nothing. The only solution is uninstalling and reinstalling. It makes it completely impossible to access your bank account at times when you actually need to access your bank account.
