Can only add 35 cards by scan without paying a subscription. Cannot ai grade at all without subscription. Joke of an app.

It’s just really great like I can actually see what the real price is and I can see what reviews that people say about it and it shows what type or which one is more expensive. I would say they are double which ones in a better condition like it works so well it’s just the best so I recommend.

I love holodex. I think it is a very underrated and useful tool for collectors. However, could you please add support for the Japanese cards? I don’t know if it exists for Pokémon or others, but one piece cards are all English versions on the app. It would be so helpful if I could track my Japanese cards too. That is really the only thing holding this app back at the moment in my opinion

Paid for the grading ai tried for over an hour just to get one card to grade and just kept getting “something went wrong, try again” error, waste of money

Scanned the same card twice. The first time, I selected the “Played or Used” option and received a 5.6. The second time, I selected “No Visible Damage” and received a 7.2. The card is clearly old and roughed up in some spots. Just worried that the final grade is relying too much on the condition we manually select, and not the actual card itself. I have graded multiple cards multiple times, and if I select “no visible damage” the grade I receive has been higher every single time.

I got this as my first choice app to scan all my cards only for the camera to be blurry even in good lighting and clean phone lens. Also I edit and save my cards in the moment only for my cards to change to holo having me go one by one to fix each one.. needed to completely delete and restart app and using now it’s not any better. Very dissatisfied and might cancel my subscription

Please add baseball cards I’ve never actually used the app because I don’t trade Pokémon i trade Sports cards. Add sports cards and I will download again.

I’ve been using HoloDex for about 3 days now and have loved the service. The only gripe with it is I’d buy a centering tool on the side and check the centering with that. I’ve scanned over 50 cards and ALMOST EVERY SINGLE ONE…. has a 9 for the centering. Now at first I was like okay, I guess since PSA changed regulation 60/40 is out the window…. So just for fun I scanned one of my slabbed cards that was a 10…. Wanna know what the centering got? An 8. Crazy. Besides that I feel like it does a great job on all other categories.

Ps. I used a phone over head stand when taking the pictures of my cards and yes I line it up so that you can see all borders, nor is the camera tilted thanks to the measuring tool built into the app (fantastic added tool).

Wanted to try this “AI Grading” everyone is talking about online and saw this app advertised on a YouTube video. Not very impressed. The AI Grading in this app was not free to try and required you to sign up for a monthly or annual membership. I chose just the monthly membership for $7.99 to try out the software. I have a Mega Charizard X EX #125 SIR from Phantasmal Flames I want to get graded. After using the AI grading App twice on the same card, it gave 2 different grades (first one an 8.5 and the second one a 9) with completely different reasoning for both grade reports. Pictures were taken on the same dark colored background using natural light. The grade reports gave different information for the rear centering and the rear edges of the card. One grade report said the edges showed whitening on the top edge whereas the other grade report said it was very sharp and clean. One grade report said that the rear centering was off center to the top and right and the other grade report said the rear centering was off center to the bottom and right. Even when you measure the rear centering with an actual centering tool it is within the 55/45 split specification but the AI Grading report rated it an 8.5. Will not continue the membership and highly discourage people from wasting their money on this gimmick of an app.

Hate it when apps like this do this. I have friends with this app and it looked really cool, wanted to use it for my Pokemon cards. Get the app, and the first thing it tells me is I have to pay $8 a month? That is outrageous. I didn’t get to even try the app first. I’m sure the app is great, but I am not coming back for the prices. Hate it when card service apps do this. We should be paying little to nothing, if anything at all. Would recommend PriceCharting and TCGplayer for card tracking, and Card Grader Pro for AI grading. They at least let you use the app, and the main features of the app is free. They make you pay extra for special features, not to use the app at all. Hate this.

I like this app for the most part but the main problem is the AI grading for one it’s $7.99 to even use the feature that would be fine. If not for being super inconsistent I used it today to grade a one piece, uta alt art from eb03 and when I used this app to AI graded at GameStop with great lighting it gave the card a 9.7 then when I got home, I tried it again and the AI gave it a flat 9 grade. So I decided to grade it again so I put it on my bed and graded it and behold the card got a 9.5 grade. I did it one more time on my nightstand right under my light. And yet again, I’m getting 9. I wish the AI was better and more consistent because right now I feel that it’s definitely not worth the 7.99 price tag Every month. Especially when I’m submitting cards for $25 each based on the grades from this app

Good luck getting the AI grading to work. EVERY SINGLE SCAN, it says to “retry” and when you retry it says there was a problem. I’ve only scanned 10 card and I had to fight tooth and nail just to get them to work. Absolutely canceling my membership, which by the way. Before you download. It costs $35/year for the AI grading.
