Cross platform support

Discovered On Aug 29, 2026
Primary Metric open
Shrimply has basically no cross-platform support right now. I want to migrate the renderer to use Slang or WGPU entirely and get rid of most of the CUDA stuff.

This is a cool project! I would love to see cross platform, or at least be able to compile it natively with a AMD GPU in Linux,
it dosen't compile on Fedora 43 and AMD GPU, no surprise there. I know ZLUDA is a thing, but I haven't tried to see if it compiles with it.

Currently on arch with amd, I would love to use this whenever this gets implemented :D
