Community Voice & Feedback
Have had blink for over 2 yeses now and have regretted it since. Horrible sound quality, picture always takes 30 seconds to start recording, and half the time it won’t record because something is wrong with it.
I’ve had blink for almost 5 years now and I love the cameras. I have solar panels on them and never need batteries. But, they want to integrate Ai into the app. It’s working without it. We do not need it. I don’t want Ai shoved down my throat every step of the way. I enjoy the simplicity of blink. Easy to use, easy to change settings and arm/disarm systems. We do not need Ai going forward. If it’s not broke don’t fix it.
The screen won't update for days at a time! even after an update!!
La mejor decisión de compra le seguridad para mi casa
The products and cameras a pretty trash. We have a wired floodlight camera that has constant problems…light settings (dusk til dawn) never work, light is constantly going off and on, notifications get later and later, and now the camera doesn’t even pick up vehicles directly in my driveway even with the setting grid activated.
We also have a battery powered doorbell light that runs through batteries within 48 hours.
I’m currently offline…with no apparent reason, and have zero cameras working.
There’s also no live chat in customer service to help with any of these issues at the moment so I’m feeling like I’m better off throwing all my Blink devices in the trash and starting over with another company

It keeps saying a person is sitting on a couch and motion is detected. When I see past clips only ten seconds long and there is no person sitting and there is no motion detected. If a person sitting on a couch can’t the camera detect when a person getting in home before sitting?? There is huge rain coat I put on couch maybe that coat hood looks a person to the camera, A person and an object don’t recognize??
Update
I turned off notification for a while Because I don’t want to get random notification but then motion Captured clips won’t be saved ☹️. There is not even one clip for a whole week. You get what you paid.

I used it for years to record animals in back yard. Now I get message that I need to update. But, it doesn’t update because my iPad is too old. Why doesn’t it work as always did?
These cameras take FOREVER to connect and begin live feed, they constantly have issues “arming” and “disarming”, the video quality for anything before the 2k version might as well have been shot on a flip phone from 2002.
Wild to me that in 2026 this is what you can expect.
3/5 stars is being extremely generous in my opinion.
Do better.

The video pictures are not always clear especially at night. Also I wish the distant sensors were longer. BUT I guess for the price you cannot expect high quality.
I have had two broken blink cameras, either from falling or just stopped working. I bought them two years ago and have consistently had to change the batteries monthly. I cannot exaggerate that enough. The cameras don’t catch everything they aren’t the best. They should definitely be doing better, especially when we pay what we pay.
Trying to watch even a single days worth of footage on one camera is damn near impossible, I’ve been trying to do it without refreshing /freezing or crashing and wow. Literally over an hour and I have managed to get through not even half of it.
Have an isolated farmhouse off a main road in a heavily wooded area which prevents any viewing from the roadway. The property is unoccupied a few days per week. Have used Blink for several years which has put a stop to thefts, and even game poaching, which had previously been a problem.
These cameras won’t connect to my network
The app froze all the time when the bill rings I f hate it’s so annoying
App worked fine in the past, gets all the auto updates but I try and open it now and it says it needs an update, I open App Store to update it and it already is updated with an ‘Open’ button.. Click the open button and it takes me back to the original message that says I have to update it to use it.
I already own the cameras what a ripoff, I can’t use them at all.
