Use Firefox Focus for everything you want to keep separate from your main browser — for all those get in get out and forget about it moments. No tabs, no fuss, no muss. Block ads and online trackers too. One tap, and your browsing history is completely destroyed.
Blocking distracting ads also means faster page loads which means Focus gets you where you want to go a lot faster. Firefox Focus is the perfect get in/get out, search and destroy, I’m on a mission that’s none-of-your-business — web browser.
NEW DISTRACTION-FREE DESIGN
When you open Focus, you just get the awesome bar and the keyboard for super quick searching. That’s it. No recent history, no past sites, no open tabs, no ads, no distractions. Just a simple, minimal design with menus that make sense.
ONE TAP TO DELETE HISTORY
Erase your history, passwords and cookies with just a tap of the trash button.
CREATE SHORTCUTS
Pin up to four shortcuts on your home screen. Get to your favorite site even quicker without typing anything.
FASTER BROWSING WITH AD BLOCKING & TRACKING PROTECTION
Firefox Focus blocks many ads you’d normally see on web pages so you get much faster page load speeds, which means you get to the stuff you want a lot faster. Focus also blocks a wide range of trackers by default, including social trackers and those sticky ones that come from things like Facebook ads.
BACKED BY A NON-PROFIT
Firefox Focus is backed by Mozilla, the non-profit that fights for your rights on the web, so you can trust it not to sell your data.

Community Voice & Feedback
Total confidence in this search engine. I take comfort knowing that all of the prying eyes, hackers and identity thieves are not getting the chance to invade my privacy and at the end of the day I know that all is deleted with the touch of a button. In this time we live in there is so much dishonesty and I feel safe and secure.

I love it
An incredibly convenient browser, but there are a few features I’d absolutely love to see:
1. Full Screen edge-to-edge experience: When scrolling down, ALL interface elements should automatically hide, and reappear when scrolling up. Currently (v151.3.1), only the bottom toolbar collapses, while the top address bar remains almost static. For reference, the "Private Browsing" app by SavySoda shows exactly what I mean.
2. More Powerful Ad-Blocker Option: It would be great to have an optional, more aggressive ad-blocking engine, similar to Brave Shields.
3. Dark Mode for websites: Just like in the main Firefox app. Right now, I have to rely on iOS Smart Invert via Per-App Settings, which isn't ideal.
Other than that, I absolutely love this browser. I use it daily, deeply integrated into my workflow via iOS Shortcuts and URL Schemes (firefox-focus://open-url?url=).
I installed it 4 years ago, and my Screen Time shows an average of 17 hours per week over the last three weeks. You’ve built an amazing product. Love the "Read & Destroy" concept.

So I like that you can click close a page with one press of a button, but unfortunately, it's in a bad location because when you fat finger the garbage can button sometimes instead of closing the page it opens the settings button and then hits the remove shortcut button. It only really happens with youtube.com, but it keeps removing my Shortcuts and then I have to reset three different shortcuts. If I didn't have this happen multiple times a day this would otherwise be a perfect review.
Grr angy i waaaaaaaa. No
Took awhile to appreciate the worth of this succinct app. Not a replacement for a full featured browser; rather, it allows for very a purposeful focus on a singular task. Once completed, it clears any baggage. I often use this in conjunction with other apps, e.g. word processor, for quick supplemental research.
Recently anything I search loads the search for half a second, then the page flickers and then goes blank.
Please make it available for Microsoft Windows as well
Fast, privacy respecting, and very easy to use browser. However, on Apple devices, it limits you to only one tab (reason for 1 star deduction, otherwise would be 5 stars)
I mostly really like this browser. My only complaint is that the trash can button is too easy to accidentally click, and that using it clears my search engine settings.
