Doesn’t connect to truck half the time
App is lagging and not working with remote start from my phone.

The app works great when it actually works, for the last two weeks the app has not worked for anything. Deleted app tried again and nothing, on WiFi or off doesn’t matter.
amazing app makes life so much easier
The app is engineered alright. Ford Motor Company gains a lot of value for all the data they collect. Best as i can tell, consumer does not get value back from the company or dealer network. Dare say this app isn’t going to last long.

So far, this app is amazing. Allows me to remote start my diesel truck which I’ve never done before.
This is my first Ford Truck and I’ve driven trucks my whole life. My oldest son Matt is a Ford man and he was happy I finally chose a Ford. I am in love with this truck. I own a ranch and a lawn service so I put them to work. I couldn’t be more pleased with the performance and all the accessories that help me more than I realized I needed. Thank you Ford Motor Company.
Look I’m a young person mid 30s and have no desire to drive a computer. The hole thing of huge tablets and car play. Ya it’s great when it works. I’ve own ford Chevy and ram all the the last three years new heavy duty 1 ton trucks. Blind spot is stupid and the emergency braking system. The other day I was backing up into tall grass I’m a farmer and shoot every light dinger went off. Then I turned the system off and you put lights on the screen saying there off well yes I turned them off I don’t need light and messages telling me…… your vehicle is running….. really…..
come on there has to be a balance between nice convenience and overboard. And my truck is a xl basic as I could find. I wish it had less. Like the 15 16 years and the vinyl seat lumbar support is uncomfortable. The passenger seat is great but the driver seat is stiff and lumbar is set to far out.

I want to love this app, as it has come a long way in terms of functionality and features over the years. It absolutely blows my mind however just how much this app drains my iPhone’s battery. As I write this, my battery is at 37%, and when I go into iPhone’s battery settings, it is telling me that the Ford has drained 50% (!!!) of my battery today. That is insane! And this is with both background app refresh and live activities turned off, and location access set to only while using app. I hate that this app is basically essential to my car at this point, as it means I’m constantly needing to charge my barely two year old phone.
I bought a 2026 Ford F-250 SD Platinum Plus Tremor. Everything is plush and very comfortable. I previously owned a 24 GMC Sierra HD Denali Ultimate and the seats are far superior for comfort. The cabin is smaller but it all balances out. The Ford app is very helpful especially if I forgot my keys
