So far so good

I signed up for the free seven days with Rocket Money because I need to keep better track of and cancel my subscriptions. So far it’s missing at least two -_- and that’s just off the top of my head. So… unless it gets better after you pay for it, I’m gonna say only use it for budgeting smh
Lizhayes211 • Apr 23, 2026
Paid for subscription and it sucks, doesn’t list all the subscriptions I have only a few of them. So it doesn’t even do what they advertise. I had to physically go through my own paper bank statements to find out what subscriptions I have and need to cancel. Waste of money and time getting this app.

App won’t let you register or login

We help you to save money and we will show you all your subscriptions BUT BUY OUR APP 🤡😂😂

Rocket Money is completely horrible. I signed up to see who was automatically taking money out of my account and Rocket Money just joined in on the fun. I hate this company and I hate this app. Don’t use it.

They don’t necessarily have access to all the apps you use to pay for stuff and don’t have full visuals on your bills or even necessarily allow you to just manually add them in.

In my opinion I think this app is very manual use. You need to incorporate AI or some type of software to make it more user friendly.
schellz • Apr 22, 2026
Did not help me at all and then when I tried to cancel, they charged me 6x on the same day when they should’ve been crediting me and getting in touch with is a job in itself. I’m going to block them from my credit card.

Not everything needs to have a monthly price. I used to use this app all the time to track my finances but when it gets to a point where i’m paying a fee to stop paying fees I can’t stand to use it anymore. You can barely do anything on the app now without paying 7 dollars a month (used to be 6 I don’t understand how an online app can go up in price but whatever). It feels like all i can do is look at my purchases which I can do on my free mobile banking app. Not really worth using unless you have the finances to pay a monthly fee for the subscription (which most people who REALLY need to budget can’t afford). Everything costs money nowadays so I advise you to save your money and just do it all on your own and not waste money on apps like this so that the CEO can make another million a year.

This app is fine. I only ever used the free version to track credit card expenses in one place and since there’s less risk of a credit card account being hacked I was fine with linking those accounts and activities.

As of last week the app requires linking a checking account or it will not let you proceed. I am absolutely not comfortable signing into my main checking account with a third party tool, and I would caution other people against it. Most banks will argue they are not liable for issues if those issues are caused by you providing access to a third party tool that is then hacked.

You want my credit card data for free so you can sell it to the highest bidder? Fine. Trade off so I can monitor my transactions, sure. You want my checking account data for free? Absolutely not.

Deleted the app.

Excellent!

Submitted my info for new auto insurance. Their “partner” thought it was appropriate to call 4 times in a row to tell me about what they found. While I was sleeping.

RocketMoney has one major failing — it won’t total filtered transactions. You’re forced to export data to a CSV file or get out your calculator to see a result. How hard can it be to add a SUM function to the program?
