We have been using two of these cameras for over a year now with no issue and we love them. Battery life is terrific and so is the recording.

This camera is absolutely garbage. I bought it set it up it worked fine and within 2 weeks it just stopped working will not let me log into the app says poor connection and I am literally sitting by my WiFi this is the app I can’t even get into so what good is the camera when you can’t even get in the app to use it. I even tried setting up a new account and it still says same thing poor network connection cannot log into app. What a waste of money. There is no one that you can talk to to help you either I mean no one your just stuck with it.

So glad I have to wait for ads before I can see my cameras now. God forbid anyone in the company use their brains on cost savings by, I don’t know, giving the option to not send notifications every second when a camera detects motion? The other camera system I use lets me set time between notifications so I’m not being spammed if I’m working near a camera. But these cameras? If you’re working in the area be prepared to be spammed with non stop notifications that someone was detected. So instead of improving their feature set, just throw ads on it that you’re forced to watch before you can view your SECURITY CAMERA. Sure hope I don’t have to sit through an ad while I’m trying to find out if I’m about to be murdered.

Yes, the app is poor. The camera works great in live mode and the snapshots from motion detection are ok but getting a video is pretty much impossible. I installed my own SD card and have formatted it several times, tried another card and nothing. When I try to review a video, it just cycles and I get nothing. Except a week ago it actually showed me half of a video. I’m of the opinion that they’re trying to get you to subscribe to the their cloud service.

Update:
I’m satisfied with the support but the problem was not resolved. Possibility’s were explained but the issue continues which for my need, makes the camera worthless. It’s a good camera but the app is needs attention.

I got this app so I could look at birds but now it’s deleting them on its own

I purchased this app to work my new electronic hummingbird feeder. Every time it opens it wants me to download a Vico Nature app, which is only considered a one star. 👎 it’s a shame how there’s no way to contact this company.

It’s all good until you actually need help with something. I ended up having to change my card number because the company keeps trying to bill me for a subscription that I canceled. I will be purchasing another camera from Ring instead. Way more worth the price.

Says no Wi-Fi but it’s odd. It stopped exactly at the end of the month been working fine until then.

Great product. My only complaint is that I can’t seem to order more cameras to work in the same app

It does not do a **** bit of good to get a notification of movement in your front yard when all you get is the word “connecting”— this is not a one time problem. I have been having this problem for weeks. I even got a Wi-Fi extender. And even though it took almost 40 minutes to get it to reconnect to the new connection now it’s not working again

Worthless product, waste of money
Pepper and trooper • May 10, 2026
You fixed the problem and I can now see the video

BUYER BEWARE!!!! It starts out good THEN you will be asked to send problem feedback 100 times a day! The A.I doesn’t pick up a 100lb Labrador walking past it, it shows a MARKED KNOWN VEHICLE as Leaving when it is parked, and identifies a rock as a Person. You will be told you need to change your camera settings or your internet connections, don’t fall for their gaslighting, spend your money elsewhere on RELIABLE security cloud service.
This service and their cameras will not pick up the burglar or rapist breaking into your home and they need to be held accountable.

The "RTSP" Most cheap cameras use a protocol called RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) to send video to the app.

Companies "hide" this so you have to use their app.

The Hack: People use software like 🌟ONVIF Device Manager on a PC to scan their home network. If the camera is vulnerable, it will spit out a secret URL that looks like

rtsp://admin:password@***.***.*.**:***/live.

You take that URL and put it into an app like tinyCAM Monitor or VLC. Now you have a clean live feed with zero cloud pop-ups.

Sorry vico, you should prioritize the profit of your cameras and not a subscription model, anybody with a PC in 15 minutes of spare time can work around your cloud and storage pushes…

thanks for the cameras though!
