I used to love this app. Now, everything I loved about it requires you to pay for it. Something as simple as listening instead of reading??That’s absurd. I can read the Bible and other devotionals for free. There used to be a way to obtain benefits, the more you use it. That made so much sense. Now you have pay for such basic features. No, thank you.

I know many people are into the other bible app, but I love Glorify. I’ve had it now for at least six or seven years. The calming narrators are so soothing as they talk. You have a daily walk with God and they read the scripture and then interpret it as it relates to present life. It’s just a beautiful app and I honestly could not live without it. It has helped me grow closer to my faith and just starts every morning off calming and closer to God.
I have given five stars in the past, however I have to dropped now to 4 stars because after using this app and loving it for four years, I’ve noticed that the same Bible selections are recycled on Glorify over and over every year.
I use a highlight pen and date my Bible selections when I read them and do my devotionals, but I noticed that every night now it’s the same passage selections Glorify already studied in previous years. With so many beautiful events in the Bible, it’s disappointing that Glorify keeps recycling the same ones over and over again. I might have to stop renewing this app if fresh versus are no longer selected.

I like the seed growing into a tree aspect of this app. Having almost everything read to me is a benefit that I appreciate and like. There is a community aspect of this app which I find good although I have not dived in to a conversation or shared my thoughts.

Wow I have fallen in love with this app. I have tried so many but for me, the daily stuff is perfect…a quote, a passage, a devotional, a prayer…short and sweet…yet this app has also become part of my routine in the morning when I started also doing the daily course, the declarations, and the daily walk with God. I feel so inspired and happy after deep breathing while listening. I struggle with mental health and these declarations, affirmations, meditations…it’s great self care, but centered on God. It’s all short enough that I don’t feel overwhelmed, but it’s a good 25 minutes of my day that’s reviving. Thank you, Glorify team.
This daily devotional is a quick moment to connect with God and to reflect on his goodness. As a person who is trying to build a more in-depth relationship with God, this app has been helpful and has inspired me to open my Bible more frequently. I recommend it to all of my family and friends.

Why would you make me pay for something that used to be free? And having to pay for the AUDIO verses and devotionals? What about people who have vision issues or any other impairment that would benefit from using the audio? You’re seriously putting an accessibility feature behind a paywall? That rubs me the wrong way as a consumer who cares about other people and not just myself.
The BIGGEST thing is that it’s sending a message to nonbelievers: The money in your wallet dictates how close you can get to Christ. THIS is why Christianity gets a bad rap. Putting God behind a paywall doesn’t encourage people to seek His face. And I mean, hell, why would I wanna pay for a Bible app when I can just go watch porn for free? MAKE IT MAKE SENSE.
Glorify USED to be my favorite. But now? I’m gonna recommend YouVersion Bible App from Life.Church. It’s more expansive and…ITS FREE.
