No comparison to the no longer existent AppsGoneFree. AppsGoneFree really looked into apps that did NOT go free often. AppRaven has so many apps that go free so frequently, I question if they weren’t supposed to be free to begin with. Many repeat apps and even the free IAP category they have is no comparison, repeat apps and the same PDF scanner, TV control, guitar cord apps. No variety, clear sponsored and not TAILORED. Not going to renew my subscription next year
Besides Indieappcatalog this is one of the only ways to find apps that get buried that aren’t the essential or sponsored. You’ll find this is way more small developer friendly Im terms of searches. I have found more than 20 apps so far from using this for app searches or just having the ability to see other people’s lists and recommendations. Crazy how Apple still has such a horrible search system - you literally don’t have to even scratch the surface to find things here. Thanks for making finding apps a whole lot easier.
AppRaven featured my app in the wrong category and cost a lot of time and money. The owners takes a week to reply between emails and stopped responding after I sent the payment for a paid feature.
I adore AppRaven very much. It’s super for keeping track of what apps (both games and utilities) are popular, free, on sale, brand new, and available for preorder. I use it daily and I always find something new to play or try. However I do have one small complaint with the app and that is the posting/commenting system. It is aimed at reviewing, but users can vote and leave comments on reviews. Many times the comments are not positive. So I have decided to use the app without leaving reviews. It would be nice to see the voting gone, a way to leave a review for apps like you can here, and a way to discuss the apps separately.
I wish I found this app sooner. Apple’s app store is just filled with the same 10 apps that pay the most money to be on the front page.
App raven actually has the user experience in mind with discoverability and people’s personal curated collections/recommendations. The community is really great! I can also put apps on a wishlist! What woah so simple yet apple is too backwards thinking and money centric that they decided to remove that.
Additionally app raven actually shows you sales, deals, and REAL tags of certain games. It reminds me of steam for the app store. Apple’s app store is like the walmart dvd bin. App raven is like a very organized music shop and you’re just really happy to explore it every time.

Needs an update or something. App is not performing correctly every time I open it now. Needs work or needs to be labeled as abandonware.

There are too many promoted apps it is frustrating sifting between the promos and the rare real deal. Keeping the app maintained appears not to be a priority for the developers because there’s been no updates in over a year. I really miss App Sliced. It was always a far superior product. RIP App Sliced.
This app was so great then bugs have piled up without a single update in a year to address any of them. Despite taking money from customers for subscriptions and lifetime subscription
