Total Refresh for Safari

I have a window of tabs that I refresh daily so thought this would save me a few seconds. When I invoke it some windows are refreshed but some are not so I still have to check and it saves me nothing.

Works great, reloads all my tabs that are in a tab group at a click

I’m so frustrated by this app and documentation at this point. The App Store page says it comes with a guide, online instructions say there should be a way to toggle it to only the current window, and I think MAYBE I saw that option when first downloading, but I can’t find anywhere in my Mac or the app menu to check/change this option. Even when uninstalling app, when I re-download it from the App Store to trigger a setup wizard or something, it just defaults back to the current settings where there’s no way to change it.

I’m a user who tends to keep a few different windows open for various projects, and when I revisit a project I just want all those tabs to refresh. This app defaults to refreshing ALL tabs across ALL windows which is a significant drag on computer resources, for tabs I have no intention of using today.

As reported by some of the other users, this app was in a state of disrepair, but has since been updated to work for the latest macOS. Works great!

The latest update seems to have fixed all the bugs that some of the other reviews mention

The option to only refresh the tabs on the current active window doesn’t seem to work. Like another reviewer noted, this extension works… sort of. Every time I activate it, it refreshes every tab I have across all 3 of my Safari windows. I really wish he would fix this and it would be perfect if it worked like it was supposed to.

I do not recommend at all

Perhaps the fault is mine. I have tabs set up on Safari that open automatically every time I start the browser. Those tabs are for specific pages.

Throughout the day, while using the tabs, I may venture off to another page. I had hoped that TOTAL REFRESH would load those tabs back to their original home page. This does not seem to be the case at all.

This is odd, as Chrome offers a free extension that when activated, resets all tabs back to their designated page.

I will be seeking a refund on this app

Every time I pressed the button, it started at the top of the list of tabs and not continuing further but instead back at the beginning. It also always stopped at 11 tabs, and it also goes too fast where i get a "I'm not a robot" captcha on each tab it went through, where I have to then manually get it off.

This is a great idea for an app but honestly I don't think this is working anymore at all because it just adds more inconvenience.

you cannot set a specific time to reload a single tab

Works fine with the latest Safari as of this writing. It works as a task that goes through each open tab one-by-one and refreshes them, but it didn't get all the way through all my open tabs and stopped short of the last 5 or 6 -- so it would be nice if it could get through those.

Additionally, it would be nice if there were a rate limiter, becasue all my tab refreshes were on the same site and I think the site wasn't happy about that. So, if there were a way to slow down the refresh rate per tab, or only do X number at a time before taking a break and then moving on again, that would be awesome.

Ideally, it could do all this in the background as before, but generally it works for what you need to do and I assume it will only get better over time.

Works on every active tab of every window, NOT the on background tabs of multiple safari windows. Would love for it to work as advertised though!

It doesnt not work. Only reloads active tab.

Tested - does not work with pinned tabs or tab groups.

The only thing this app does is take up storage space. Even if you turn on it’s extension in settings, it doesn’t change that page that the app opens up to. And I can’t find any trace of it in safari when all my other extensions are working perfectly fine. Don’t waste your time.
