This app not only found my font but gave me some great similar suggestions that I hadn't found before in my search

I wanted this app to help with a MS PowerPoint presentation. I needed to find Microsoft font types that I could use in a presentation. The scanned font returned 80 random fonts, none of which were available in Microsoft. So unless there is a way to filter results and find font types that can actually use… this app is useless.

I’ve been using this app now for some years, I’m a freelance graphic designer and recently got hired with a marketing company. This app has always been my go-to. I’m not sure what the other reviews are referring to? Maybe they just expect things to be handed to them on a silver platter 😆 graphic design is work and research!! What the font gives you near identical fonts if not the exact one you’re looking for. Definitely recommend it!! Thank you to the developers!!

WHY WHY WHY!

Gave a bunch of random fonts, couldn’t read the text I put in
Samasoccer • Jul 12, 2025
The app updated a few months ago and now it doesn’t recognize any font I put in there. I have even tried basic fonts that should for sure be recognized.
DC Chic • Jul 12, 2025
Never once recognized a font automatically from a picture, never recognized a font after I selected the text. Might work well for plain no background b&w but didn’t have that need to try ever.
anounomius • Jul 8, 2025
fonts are currently not being detected, please fix this

This use to be an important tool for me as a graphic designer tasked with recreating logos & artwork. But since I updated to the newest version, it hasn’t identified a single font for me yet.
4gowopo • Apr 28, 2025
This NEVER identifies the correct font.

Super slow, bad interface, and it doesn’t show accurate results.
JeepEnvyBaby • Mar 4, 2025
After the most recent release, the ability to enter your own text to see the font matching results does not work once you type in several letters, it appears to be six, then you can’t see your text unless you go into every individual font to look at it, which defeats the purpose of having the summary on the first page App used to be okay. Someone has some work to do.

Before, the app correctly broke the image into lines. Now it groups many lines into the identified sample, which totally confuses the recognizer. Before, one could see the resemblance between the scanned sample, and the matching fonts. Now the differences are notable.

Used this for a while, used to be pretty good but misidentifies fonts now with obvious and egregious differences. Looking for an alternative now.
