Having all these codes in one source is great. Being able to bookmark and email code sections is also great. I would only add the ability to highlight passages (like in a textbook). The search function is now much better, making searches for specific issues much faster and easier.
I purchased this App in 2013 with life time updates for $29.00. As of 2015, the company (app designer) decides they want you to renew annually now for $29.00 a year. This is a total scam and not worth the money. There are better Apps out there that do not charge annually for updates. DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!!!!

had a problem with the search function being inop. emailed the vendor. got email response with effective workaround in under 24 hours. super app. super support.

Search function not working after most recent update.
I’ve owned this application for almost three years now. It is quite useful. A lot of the inefficiencies I noticed at first have been eliminated. For example, I can now search within particular codes or even more specific articles or divisions of codes.
Still, bookmarks and highlights are not synchronized between devices.
Data updates are now an in app purchase. Just something new to worry about. I suppose the updates aren’t all that expensive when compared to the cost (and benefit) of doing business.

The biggest issue is that it is not complete. For example, Probate Code 4401, the statutory power of attorney is missing the text. That is sloppy and needs to be corrected. Especially now that they are charging a significant amount for upgrades. I should not have to buy a West or Lexis product if they are charging this much for upgrades.

Searching is great and with many options: type a search, browse and drill down into the codes, click hyperlinks of other codes, search in a particular code or all codes, etc. Simply fantastic. Developer is very responsive and works very hard on this app to deliver excellent and critical updates. One of the best apps I have purchased.
Having the code section ranges when going through the codes is unbelievably helpful. As a family law attorney, I use multiple codes in this app constantly. If there is a need to view the California codes, this app is, hands down, the way to go.
The only remaining suggestion I have is to add the ability to annotate...very helpful for attorneys either in court, or for collecting thoughts, etc.

Very helpful compilation. Hyperlinks take you to the code cited within the code you're reading. Two search options ( exact and plain ) help a lot.
This is the best app for working lawyers on the market.
Having the codes always at your fingertips is invaluable for any lawyer. The statutes are nicely organized and easy to search. Highly recommended!
