I just updated the app on 4/9/26. Much like every update in the last 2 years, I have to reconnect my music service yet again. Why do the updates wipe out your settings, etc. This time, it won’t even let me add the music service yet Just a spinning wheel reminiscent of the PC blue screen of death from the 90s.

Not being able to add multiple albums AT ONCE to a playlist is extremely irritating.

For an expensive speaker this app has constant issues. It will work fine for a few months and then it won’t work at all. I expect for this price of tech that I should never have any issues. Just when I think the issues have been permanently resolved they start all over again.

App doesn’t work and sucks. Expensive waste of money on the power node edge

It's touch and go whether it finds my node, and when it does it takes close to 30 seconds to open up so I can access the node. I thought Sonos was bad…

It’s a great app overall. But we need more than just 150ms for the lip sync delay. Please give us the range up to 300ms.

Does not see my player, does not work, useless!! Very frustrating

This was once a great app and I loved it (past tense). It worked great and was easy to navigate. That was over a year ago. In the past 18 months or so they have made “quality of life” updates to the interface that have actually had the opposite result. My user experience has actually declined with each major change recently. One example is that when I started the app, I used to be able to immediately enter my music library. Not anymore. That is an extra step now. These little irksome changes were bearable since it is all I have to run my home system. Well, the last update I installed destroyed even that situation. My system is basically useless now. They bricked it. iPads (and iPhones) can be used wired over your home network with an Ethernet to USB adapter into the Apple camera adapter. This Ethernet functionality is included with iOS by default. So, how did BluOS brick my system? A page would pop up when no WiFi was detected, BUT there was a “Close” button to remove that missing WiFi screen so I could access the app and use it to play music on my system. It functioned normally without WiFi over a wired connection. I also have a CD player connected to my system by optical cable that I cannot use because I cannot access that input either since all I see is a missing WiFi page now. BluOS, WHY would you do that? Even if someone doesn’t use a wired system, it would still be nice to have access to the app. What if their WiFi is down or broken? They still might want to go into the app and play with the settings. PLEASE return the option to CLOSE the WiFi screen, and scold the genius who thought to remove it. Not everyone operates the same way. Thank you for your time in reading this.

I just spent hundreds of dollars buying a Node Streamer and this app is useless. Won’t connect to my music streaming services, might as well connect directly to my Bluetooth speakers.

Have had 2 nodes and now can connect to either of them since update before last. Don't buy these because their app sucks!!

Absolutely garbage! Being used on a wireless system with mesh extender. Great WiFi in the house everywhere. App won’t stay connected. Will connect with Qobuz about 1/2 of the time. Now it won’t disconnect from an iHeart station. I deleted the app and the 3050 still wants to play an iHeart station even after I turn the 3050 back on. Reinstalled and same problems. I bought Alpha iQ satellite speakers for a different room because they are from the same company and they will connect and disconnect to app. Connect, disconnect all the time! I purchased all NAD - C3050 with BluOS in it, cd player, tuner, and C 588 turntable. Disappointed. But I do love the SVS tower speakers!

The BlueSound Node app is painfully slow at responding to fundamental commands such as skipping to the next song. My $99 WiiM streamer’s application outperforms the BlueSound node in every way. My Node is located closely to my WiFi router. Embarrassing that BlueSound cannot get this right when their competitors are not having these kinds of problems.

I have used this app and device for over a year and was very happy. Now since receiving the update the device suddenly disappears and can’t connect. I can barely get through a few songs and this happens. Terrible, unfortunately

My wifi is not showing the player Wi-Fi to connect too for some reason it’s not popping up

Ever since the most recent update it doesn’t work anymore. I have an iPad I can still control my player from, but from my phone it doesn’t connect to the Node anymore. Frustrating.

Update a few months later: every time the app has an update it fails to work for a day or two. If it wasn’t for a second device I could not control my player.

And again. An update and nothing works. It’s annoying!
