I haven't used the app very much yet, but I wanted to write a review because it works well so far. What's funny is when I went to type a review, I actually started typing instead of using the app. Hopefully this app will help me fix that

Not sure what happened with the update within maybe the last week or so, but it seemed to have been working amazingly. Now it seems about on par with the normal included voice transcriber. If you have to go correct it using the keyboard that Wispr provides just to be efficient, it's absolutely horrible. It will just autocorrect any word that you're trying to spell to what it thinks you're trying to say, which is not even close to correct. And will not give you options and/or a way to leave it as is. It all automatically corrects it regardless.

I homeschool my kids and when I have to plan their lessons I use a digital planner. A lot of the curriculum lessons have something new for every single day so it doesn't follow a pattern, which can make lesson planning very tedious and time consuming. I don't really like to just put "do lesson one, do lesson two..." because I want to know what we need to work on specifically so I can match it with activities or books or whatever we need to do, and I also like to see what we're doing ahead of time. I put in all three kids' lessons in our online planner for every curriculum and I have to do this every year. This year I was not looking forward to repeating 180 lessons or so for every curriculum for every child for every subject. So I started looking into speech-to-text and found Wispr Flow. It has made my inputting in the digital planner so much faster and convenient. I absolutely love it and it has really slashed my lesson planning timeswami down. I'm actually looking forward to lesson planning now and putting in their lessons! I don't dread it anymore! I'm going to be sad when I'm done! Ha! I love this thing -- I mostly use the desktop app on my laptop.

I just now downloaded the phone app so I haven't really used it very much, therefore, I can't really say much about the phone app yet but the desktop app is amazing. I did discover that when using the phone app, when you hold down the space bar to move your cursor across text, the Wiser Flow keyboard it has you install and use makes that cursor fly super fast across the text when holding down the space bar. It doesn't seem to work well when holding down the space bar to move the cursor to fix stuff. And also, if you want to delete something mid sentence and start talking, it well begin with a capital letter even though you're starting in the middle of a sentence. Hopefully these minor quirks will get addressed in the future for the phone app, but it doesn't dock points off from me since my primary use is for laptop. (And when I am on my phone, I use my hold+space bar to move my cursor around text often to tighten my text or fix errors so the phone app likely won’t save time for me as much as it will on laptop. I mean, sometimes I can tap exactly where I need to fix text; but most of the time, when I tap a word to fix it, it goes to the word next to it, which is why I just hold down my space bar to move my cursor around my text. It would be nice if this weird thing was fixed on the phone app. Anyway like I said, no points taken off because I understand this is likely a personal preference.)

Thanks for building a cool tool! If you homeschool and input digital lessons, this would work great for you!!

It's so cool, and I don't have to type anymore, which is great, obviously.

I'm updating my review. I've used Wispr Flow for a few months now and at first I rated it 5 stars. I loved everything about it but in the last three to four weeks, something bizarre has been happening.

Every time I invoke it I spend 10-15 minutes talking and hoping it will transcribe my brain dump I end up frustrated because when I go to get my transcript it fails to transcribe. It says it's empty. It's consistently glitchy

I guess it must have been recent updates or something - over the last few weeks, consistently lost everything that I have tried to transcribe. This is extremely disappointing for an app that I absolutely loved and spoke highly of. All of a sudden it is absolute trash and hopefully the developers read this and fix it

Love the idea of this app

They really thought of the user. It's really intuitive to use. It's so intuitive you sometimes forget how easy it is. It's bizarre because this is not a voice recording app. It's a voice-to-improved and perfect text. That's what it is.

I read about this app in the New York Times report of today, August 20, 2026. I downloaded it to my iPad and tried it on a few different programs. It works really well.

I'm using it in a messaging app for texting. I tried it in the Pages word processing program on my iPad. It works really well.

However I just got a notice that I've used my 1,000 words for free. I guess I'll have to pay to use more words, but I'll happily pay. Let me see how much it costs.

I was hesitant to get Wispr Flow. I figured that the built-in microphone was good enough. I'm so excited about how easy it is to capture my thoughts with this app!
