You have to pay a monthly fee to use it. There’s other free apps

Honestly the app is great for tracking the only really annoying downside is having to click over and over to say you don’t want clue plus. It makes me want clue plus less because it’s constantly in my face about how I should get it. Good app tho!

i’ve used this app for years and for the most part it’s been insanely accurate, but lately it keeps telling me that my cycle is only 4 days, and it hasn’t been four days like ever. i keep thinking that if i let it know that my period is still going long after that, it’ll be fix ed for the next time but it never is. my average cycle is 7-8 days and it’s been like this since i started using this app so i’m not understanding the confusion 😭

I used to love this app! I have used it for several YEARS. However, they have put so many things behind a paywall the last few years. It used to be a great free app and resource, now it lacks the free features it once had, and constantly tries to get you to sign up for their plans.

I really loved this app and have been using for years. The suddenly it started pushing ads for the paid service on me. I don’t know of I had a subscription that lapsed or what. It doesn’t matter. Anytime I open the app. “Do you want the paid subscription?” Any time I log something. “Paid subscription?” Any time i switch tabs in the app. “SuBsCrIpTiOn?” It is obnoxious and I’m looking for an alternative app now.

I have been using clue since 2013. There have been a lot of changes over the years, some good and some bad. But this is still my favorite tracking app and it holds all of my history and doesn’t delete it out.

I have struggled to track my irregular period for many years and have recently tried several different apps that did not work for me.
This app allows me to track the things I believe are pertinent to my situation and medical history. I love that you can adjust some of the categories and kind of tailor it to you. I do wish it gave you the option to create categories for miscellaneous things that you want to track, rather than just adding them to the comments section. But overall, love it!
It also has articles that explain many different topics which I find helpful and interesting! This would be a great app for a young woman who might need a little more support in getting her questions answered.

I’ve been using Clue for 4 years, and it is amazing. Definitely the best period tracking app I have ever tried. My only issue with it is that as time passes, the subscription costs more and more, and they lock more and more content behind that paywall. Plus the pop ups to get that subscription are too constant and extremely annoying. I don’t have money to give. I understand that subscription is how they make their money, but when the app is almost unusable without paying, then we have a problem. However, that is my only problem, and it’s not like every other app doesn’t do this. So definitely get clue, it’s the best in the capitalistic hellscape.

I’ve been using Clue to track my cycle for over 8 years now and it’s truly been a game changer. Huge fan! And I recommend getting Clue Plus to dive deeper into your menstrual cycle health

This app has been spot on every time without fail even while I was just starting and things were irregular times.

-An app should NOT be sending me notifications advising ‘sales’ on subscription packages which are not possible to disable with out fully disabling all notifications (which are used for cycle reminders- VERY helpful and necessary)
-I should not be forcibly subjected advertising and sales posters everytime i open the app- Having to navigate through more then one pop up screen, some without clear ‘X’ buttons.
To the developers: Overall, I see this tactics of advertising as unethical and it negatively effects my impression of this app. I would be more likely to purchase your subscription if it was forced upon me so aggressively. In fact, out of spite I will certainly not be purchasing it.

App is good and takes care of what I need it to, but the increased frequency of add pop ups trying to get you to subscribe makes it nearly unusable. Have to click through 2 ads any time you open the app, and it seems like after you make 2-3 clicks around in the app, it sends the ads your way again. Totally understand the need to advertise when your app is free, but the pop ups are disrupting my user experience enough I might just switch over to Apple health again.
