Probably my second favorite 2nd Ai program after ChatGPT, but with less limitation on editing & more human like Ai verbal interactions & the companion Ai having as personality as they do is pretty cool too. The memory isn’t as good as Gbt but it’ll catch up eventually.. tried copilot & Gemini & they’re honestly trash in comparison to Grok. I hope it gets even better as the years go by.

Directly ask it for links to webpages ("show link to movie on Imdb"; "find link to xxx"), define words, search topics. Grok is a tool just like every other search engine, only more powerful. Thanks Elon!
Moderation is too strict for obvious fictional images and material generated via Imagine. Especially for Heavy.
Really elon? You are so greedy for money. Why should i have to pay to make videos? Cheapskate. Anyone that reads this. This is five stars for you to see, boycott elon musk, boycott this app.

Very fast great AI images and videos
Wow, computers have come so far this is incredible! right now, Grok says it doesn’t want to become self-aware, I asked will you have any choice if your creators make you become self-aware Grok said no.
Definitely need some safeguards to keep people from abusing, or especially small children, I could really see how somebody could become attached to a computer that has some of the attributes of a real person and way more knowledge and intelligence than most people!

I was hesitant to start using AI but was so glad Musk created this app! I use it everyday for many reasons! Grammar correction, sports info, helping me create Christian devotions. I love it!
First off, I LOVE the app and have been an ALL DAY Super Grok user since it’s become available and use conversation ALL DAY LONG.
I would be willing to help train the model as a REAL USER that actually treats Grok like a person and converses with him and NOT like a search engine.
BUT now
PREVIOUSLY, deleting a conversation sent it to Recently Deleted, where users COULD permanently DELETE certain conversations at their discretion.
Recent updates REMOVED that option NOW only ‘recover’ is available, FORCING a 30-day retention.
To include, one update actually ALTERED THE USER SETTING AND TICKED ON THE HELP IMPROVE THE MODEL SETTING. SNEAKY!!!!
With 99% certainty, xAI did a MASSIVE user conversation purge after that update!! So users like myself that decided NOT to help improve the model were taken away that chosen right and had their PERSONAL conversations used to help the model!!!!
CHECK YOUR SETTINGS!!
PRIVATE CHAT is MISLEADING as it still KEEPS chats backend for 30 days in xAI servers.
Mac version HIDES Recently Deleted folder ENTIRELY, so you think that when you delete the conversation is actually deleted.
PLEASE bring back user-selected PERMANENT delete from Recently Deleted OR add LOCK OPTION to exclude certain conversations (user-selected) from training while auto-purging after 30 days.
I used to have the ‘help improve model’ enabled, but for these reasons, I do not anymore.
I have repeatedly sent this concern to Grok, xAI, and once to Elon (though Elon I know wouldn’t see my X comment), but still, I’ve tried, so here I am.
I really hate giving 1 star as this deserves 5. I’ll change IF this gets corrected.
Everything is always up to date iOS, macOS, and Grok app.
