This is such a cool concept. If I could request one addition it would be adding sports as a pen pal topic.
I find myself writing more intentional messages to my friends. Plus I love the birds! Win win!
AI images immediately turned me off - most obvious one being the snail with literal feet. The fact its use is not even disclosed is just as bad. Disappointing, the concept seemed neat. I would consider coming back to it if they were replaced with real, even just generic stock photos, of actual birds.
The premise of the app is great, I love that all the birds have different speeds and you can train them with minigames. My only gripe is that the performance really deteriorates the longer that your message chain is - specifically if you are sending lots of gifs to each other. If the developer can make it smoother that’s the only thing preventing it from being five stars 😊
i love the app, but the bird illustrations are not made by real artists. i’d love to support the app but I can’t bring myself to keep using when the birds are AI generated
You should add bugs to the game that Move slower than the snails, just because it would be funny :)
I really wish when your birds were in other peoples’ rookeries it would take the same amount of time it takes the message to get there. It’s sliightly disappointing to recall them and they come back instantly.

As a long time birder and bird lover I have been having a ton of fun with this app! The pen pal function is super cool and I’m loving sending fun and silly messages to my other bird loving friends!
so darn cute! a friend referred me and a few others and its been really nice to get sudden random messages hours or days later!! i have a penpal all the way in the netherlands and thats so nice! definitely a cute and relaxing way to message people
This app has such a stupid premise, but I was hooked the literal moment I saw an ad for it. It’s equal parts silly and equal parts fun, collecting birds and making you really think before you send a mindless message. I have not stopped recommending this and I will not
The dull AI birds really sour the experience of an otherwise nice idea. I know this app is still early in its development, which makes it a great time to remove them. The birds are supposed to be a big part of the appeal! Please use real art, or at least photos of real birds. No one needs AI slop in their messaging app.
