Can't chat with anyone, Doesn't let me get out of the paying option. I used it once for free and now it just keeps asking me to pay for it, Not everyone can buy things just to chat with others.
I love using spike because it’s so good seeing how your chat with your partner goes, you’ll know when they read your message and when they did not, it’s a good application I love it
I tried the app, paid for a month, then decided the app wasn't for me. Contacted the Spike guys and asked them to delete my account and stop billing me.
They sent a confirmation that my account was deleted and they would stop billing me. Then they billed me the following Month.

Why are you people requesting for money huh?
This was a great app and great concept initially, but now that they eliminated their basic service, you can’t do anything without subscribing to a monthly service. It’s all AI generated for no reason. It’s not that complicated to thread emails as a conversation; that’s all I used it for. You had one job.
It also lacks the ability to delete all but the most recent email from a sender (like Outlook has had for free for decades now). My phone summarizes emails for free; I don’t need to pay for a BS AI client to do that either. Bottom line: save your time and money and use something else.

I’m done with spike. I’ll let go of it since they’re have included payment plans
Was my main email app for years because of its unique approach to emails, especially with the chat-based threads. Then it switched to Premium Only, making it just as bad as the low quality competitors. Profit is truly consuming even the best products out there.
I like Spike’s method of email interaction. The messaging look and feel seems less imposing because of its cleaner interface and focus on writing without having to see superfluous information such as headers and sender details. I love the way the inbox is laid out so that the focus remains tight and uncluttered. As a neurodivergent person, I find Spike to be the most accessible email client because its efficient use of information means I’m not overwhelmed like I had been with typical email layouts. The sender-focused method makes sense intuitively and Spike successfully gives us a great way to interact with email.
