I’ve had chime since it first started and I’ve never went back to traditional banking since. There is no need to with an app like this . You can get anything done faster cheaper and better every time with chime . I’ve recommended my younger family members because this is banking for the new age.

I have had a chime account now for a good seven years. It has become my main account and I’ve become quite frustrated because anytime I deal with a government entity whether it’s court or drivers license or a nonprofit, they don’t accept Chime. I thought this would eventually go away but to this day I still have to pay six dollar ATM fees because I work with a lot of local governments that do not accept chime or they say it might work. Bottom line is I just spent $5.50 to go use another ATM in order to get access to funds and chime charged me $2.50. Over the course of seven years this has equated to roughly $500. This is not right, and Chime should fix this. I reported this to several governmental officials to the point that the state of Georgia is considering legal action against Chime. If there’s anybody on the receiving end of this, I really hope you take this seriously and approach it with your technical department as I’ve also reported it to Apple in stating that you guys are fraudulently disclosing information that this card is accepted everywhere. I’m now looking at other options and you should too.

This is not good a lot scammer use that app because when you send money to someone in the app you can’t cancel the transaction or the costumer service can’t refund you your money. Be careful
Hemme.A • Apr 22, 2026
The app removed the running balance feature from the transaction history so you can't see your balance after the charge. This makes money tracking much more difficult. I have had to get in touch with support on two separate occasions to get my full history. One time they found $600 lost (somehow?) between a checking / savings transfer. I think they're stealing money and hoping people don't notice. If you use chime watch your balance

Zay_420 • Apr 21, 2026
Crazy you can use it if you have a Puerto Rican license or ID shame yall need to fix that some of us come from Puerto Rico and this the fasted way for us to get a bank and you make it impossible
Crunchy1973 • Apr 21, 2026
My password got changed and someone was allowed to spend $28.62. I called support 3x before a dispute was ever filed. Now they are claiming it was posted but I’ve been watching for it daily. They never updated the balance or posted the money to my account
