I am using Fongo for 7 years already, it’s my main Canadian phone number.
This app helps fill the gap after Skype ended: I found it so I could call 1-800 but I will stay with it since I can keep in touch with people. Great app and much needed. Thank you!
I purchased 1 month of texting. They instead charged me then sent a message, "Due to higher than normal volume fulfillment of your purchase is delayed. Your purchase will be fulfilled shortly." -- what is shortly? 5 minutes? An hour? A day? Don't charge the customer if you cannot fulfill the order...
It’s working perfectly fine no problem so far hopefully it will stay that way
They still have some work to do on this app. Making calls works fine, but unless you are in the app actively you can’t answer incoming calls. I tried all their debugging steps but nothing worked. It’s a shame because the price is good. If they fix the app I’d consider it again, but as it stands it’s not a replacement for a normal Canadian phone plan.
I paid for the app and I have been trying to download it and it’s not working I just downloaded other apps now and still they will just take your money don’t pay for service you won’t even receive. Refund me now!!!

Installed the Fongo mobile on Canadian Apple Store and made the purchase , requested transfer of my number, once transfer is done nothing works while I’m outside canada. I tried changing the region of the Apple Store and then purchase the world Fongo app which require a new account and can’t transfer my phone number too. I’m not sure why people are giving this app positive reviews . Nothing works with big hassle switching regions and wasting money.

Useless app don’t you ever download this…. I just registered and account and I was asked to sign in it says unable to sign in
Please is any one else getting a message to reinstall the latest version in order to be able to login? I go to AppStore and find there is no new release and yet I keep getting this message. I deleted my app and re-downloaded; only to get the same notification. At first, I thought I am forgetting my Password and go ahead to change password successfully, but still can’t log in. What is going on Fongo? This is not cool!
Update: I sent a complaint email and got support. Apparently, my account was suspended cause I had recently called a particular number multiple times. Now I will be aware of that. Thankfully, my account has been reinstated. I’m glad Fongo has been responsive through this.

They close your account for no reason. Even when you bought the app and paid for a subscription. How do you close someone’s account without a reason. This obviously theft
I paid for this and I am still inundated with adds. It’s like the app forgot I pad after a couple weeks or something.
Please make it easier to block spam calls. Thank you.
