Most of the time it’ll try to redirect you to google bc it can’t answer the questions. and if it’s not doing that, it answers a completely different question. i mean i take a picture of a question with all the answers included and it pops up a picture of a different question with different answer choices and it answers that. if i’m taking a picture it should be smart enough to answer the question that’s in the picture
Great for simple math, but it doesn't know complex math on a high school/college level. Many answers were made up or incorrect
I love to use this in class on my math tests so that I don’t fail my class and it shows me the work so it doesn’t just look like I googled the answer so I can write the work in my paper so it’s untraceable
Most of the answers given are incorrect and just the wrong equation/questions all together. Theres no option to say the answer was incorrect so they just keep giving people incorrect answers.
It did not even work for me it show me noting of how I get me amswer this suck no free trails just took my money what’s a scam!
i have a math text today and i have math 1st period so i never show up. This just saved my friggin life.

Math has always come hard to me, but PhotoMath has helped so much! It explains the steps well and gives accurate answers. It teaches way better than my math teacher.

App was great about 5 years ago. Now the steps are not explained well, the methods used to solve problems are complicated and are illogical. Final answers that are written in terms of exponents are not always shown as decimals. Very annoying that it has gotten so much worse. Also, the Google ads took the last bit of patience I used to have
the best learn math so fast literally understand how to to do it, would rather have this teach me than my teacher at school
With all of the positive reviews, I had high hopes. First time I tried using the app, I added photos for basic 4th grade math questions to find better ways to explain things to my kid and it gave the “we couldn’t recognize your problem” message and tried redirecting me to use Google’s AI for “follow up questions”. Every single photo of every problem prompted the same message. Maybe the app was good and maybe Google bought out the app to move users to their servers. Idk but the app is
