I had the Zio Heart Monitor applied by the Respiratory Department at the local hospital. It was an easy application and instructions were simple.
Basically, not to shower for 24 hours afterwards, no exercise that causes sweating, no hot tubs or swimming these are all precautions to keep the monitor in place and keep the adhesive intact.
The “sticker” with the electrode can be seen if your shirt is lower than your clavicle (cooler bone) however is not that noticeable.
Sometimes when sleeping I remember its on but, it has not been a problem
to wear it.

It really doesn’t give any information. It doesn’t serve much use to the patient.
There should be a place to write a short description of “other”
Not user friendly nor informative
Very useful to have
Very cumbersome to get to the report symptom page. Who needs all that preliminary stuff???
You have to wait till symptoms are over till you log them. It would be easier to start logging when symptoms start and add the length they last afterwards.
Easy to use and helpful
Hard to tell if there were any recordings or if the zio was working , no notification if it’s not working . Wasn’t told to press button
This is the second time I’ve been given this device to monitor a heart condition, and the second time the app has proved entirely useless. I get continuous “server not available” errors and am not able to register my device. My guess is that this is some collaboration between insurance providers and Zio to market a service, collect personal data, and provide nothing of value. So it’s back to the manual symptom log. Again. I’d rather have the symptoms than try to use this stupid app again.
This app is very easy to use. Just follow the instructions.
This divide is a miracle, you can log your issues on the spot. It can help medical professionals help you immediately. It will give your doctor a on the spot summary to treat you accurately. Thank you for placing the log book on this app. I do not always walk with the book, but I always walk with my phone. Bravo 👏🏾 for your help.
Just got it scanned the qr code. Got the app
No matter how fast I fill in the fields it keeps saying “ timed out, start again”

Easy to use reliable rhythm monitor. Big improvement over wired devices.

Some suggestions:
Use an LLM to paste in a log from Apple Notes or by taking a picture of written notes to pre-populate the recording. Using the UI for a bunch of historical recordings isn’t the best.
There’s a bug where if you are logged in, and restore to a new iPhone, then the app crashes and you have to delete the app before using it again. This should be fixed although it’s a minor bug.
