Product Positioning & Context

AI Executive Synthesis
Advanced financial planning, international travel utility.
This feature request identifies a critical deficiency in TREK's budgeting functionality for international travel: the absence of real-time currency conversion. Users are frustrated by the manual conversion required when planning expenses across multiple currencies. Implementing a base currency with automatic conversion for selected foreign currencies is a standard expectation for any serious travel planning application. This omission significantly hinders financial planning accuracy and user experience for international trips. Addressing this would elevate TREK's utility, making it a more practical and competitive solution for global travelers by simplifying complex financial logistics.

# Photoprism

[Photoprism](https://www.photoprism.app/) is very similar to Immich and has the advantage of a [simple API](https://github.com/photoprism/photoprism/blob/79ceeb1a/internal/api/swagger.json) that could be used to link to an album or get geo-tagged photos of a specific location. Integrating Photoprism should be simpler due to the documentation using [DeepWiki](https://deepwiki.com/photoprism/photoprism)

# [AirTrail](https://github.com/johanohly/AirTrail)

**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
I have maintained all my flights in AirTrail. This is a great self-hosted tool for flight tracking, history and stats. I don't want to maintain those flights again and also want to keep using AirTrail.

**Describe the solution you'd like**
Integration with AirTrail to retrieve or link flight data from it that it's not necessary to maintain the flights again.

# [Papra](https://github.com/papra-hq/papra) for document storage

**Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.**
I want to attach documents but usually I try to avoid redundancy and don't want my travel related documents to be available only in TREK.

**Describe the solution you'd like**
Connect with the document management solution Papra to save documents directly from within TREK into Papra and search Papra for existing documents and link them in TREK.
Papra has an API that is capable of this and then redundancy could be avoided easily.

**Describe alternatives you've considered**
Create a link in Papra and attach it in TREK. But this wouldn't be seamless and an extra login would be required when opening the link.

# Synology Photos integration
Just like Immich for linking photos as a memory.
