0.2.7 also has this problem: Wi-Fi Direct connection keeps looping/reconnecting wirelessly and cannot enter the interface.

It would be great if I could get support. My device is on Android 4.2.2.

### Bug: Wireless CarPlay Wi-Fi P2P Initialization Failure

I have encountered the **same Wi-Fi P2P compatibility issue** on a BYD Song Plus vehicle with the 17 Controller configuration.

The issue occurs during the wireless CarPlay connection process. The application fails when initializing the Wi-Fi P2P connection and reports the following error:

No virtual method getNetworkName()Ljava/lang/String;
in class Landroid/net/wifi/p2p/WifiP2pConfig;
or its super classes

The failure occurs during:

STEP wifi/ap: starting the wireless CarPlay access point
↓
wireless bring-up
↓
Wi-Fi P2P preflight
↓
WifiP2pConfig.getNetworkName()
↓
NoSuchMethodError
↓
wireless bring-up failed

This appears to be the **same Android framework API compatibility issue** seen on other BYD head units.

The vehicle information is:

Using an iPhone 13 Pro running OS 17.7.2, the same issue was also encountered on a Dlink 4.0 (9.0), a vivo 2405A (15), and a Redmi K50 (12). By the way, I was using the car head unit's hotspot.

the car's infotainment system uses Android 9,
while the iPhone 12 Pro Max uses iOS 17.5.1.
This issue has been observed in both versions 0.2.0 and 0.2.6, and occurs whether the connection is made directly via Wi-Fi or using a hotspot.
