Product Positioning & Context

AI Executive Synthesis
A free, privacy-focused tool for creating hotspot areas on images, running entirely in the browser without server-side components.
This tool addresses a niche but common developer need for image annotation, particularly in game development or interactive web content. The browser-only execution and privacy focus are key differentiators, appealing to developers wary of data egress or complex setups. Its utility lies in simplifying asset creation workflows, reducing manual coordinate mapping, and providing immediate, exportable data. The 'hacked together' origin suggests a solution born from direct pain, often a strong indicator of market fit for developer tools. The lack of server-side dependency minimizes operational overhead for users, enhancing its appeal for rapid prototyping and small-scale projects.
For a game I'm developing I needed an easy way to create hotspot areas on images. So I hacked together a small tool to do so and before I knew it, I had created an entire app :-)It allows you to generate JSON or YAML from the coordinates you tack on the image. tack runs entirely in your browser, there is no server side component to it, so good in terms of privacy.Hope this is helpful.
