Really impressive to see Claude's reasoning capabilities applied to presentation structure — most AI slide tools nail the aesthetics but produce logically hollow decks. The ability to *refine* existing presentations rather than just generate from scratch is the feature I'd actually use daily. Curious how it handles data-heavy slides with charts and tables — does Claude actively suggest better ways to visualize the underlying data, or does it mostly work with the text layer?

Does that means that I can skip canvas subscription?)

Any thoughts on how this compares with native copilot? Absolutely love Claude and if the template aware functionality is top tier this is game changing

Congrats on the launch! For those of us not living in PowerPoint but still generating slides, can you please integrate more seamlessly into Google Drive and Google Slides? I hate that I have to convert Google Slides into Powerpoint and back/forth to get it to work with Claude Cowork / Chat / Code even when I have the integration set up.

I have been using Claude to create powerpoint decks for some time, with decent results. I am excited for this addition to the capabilities...it should mean pixel perfect decks and creating from templates becomes much easier!

This is a big one for anyone who lives in PowerPoint :D The biggest friction of building decks is never “writing text.” It’s restructuring messy thoughts into a clean storyline without breaking formatting. What I love here:It actually reads your existing deck (layouts, slide masters, fonts)Makes template-aware edits instead of nuking formattingCan generate a full structure from a natural language briefConverts bullets → diagrams and adds native chartsNo copy-paste between toolsMost AI tools feel like sidekicks outside the workflow. This feels embedded as if it was the co-author of your deck. If this handles enterprise templates properly (the real test 😅), it could easily become a daily driver for consultants, founders, and operators. Over to you! How did Anthropic automate PowerPoint slides before Microsoft 365 Copilot? What do you think?
