Iām Karl. I made Retold because some family stories are too important, or too funny, to leave as anonymous audio files in a phone folder.
My nan passed away a few years ago. I still had a voicemail she left for my sister and funny clips of her trying to use Alexa. Hearing her real voice mattered, but the files did not feel like something our family would naturally return to. Retold grew from that thought.
