This is incredibly powerful product! It allows you to spin up a team of bots that can use any available AI model, and basically replace almost everything that grok bot offers, if you have a bit of tech knowledge and know how to setup a vps server. It appeared in my X timeline last week, and after playing with it during several days, I cancelled my Grok bot subscription.

Nice work on this one guys! Thank-you. I must have been using this since the day you launched and I must say... it has been a real game changer for me and my productivity. I was initially drawn to Grokbot upon their launch but wasn't going to make the leap across to Grok (ew) and instantly went looking for an alternative solution where I could plug in my Claude account and go. Glad I dug a little deeper and stumbled across MausBot.As someone running multiple businesses constantly drowning in tedious and often super repetitive tasks, MausBot has provided me the platform and framework to easily delegate and orchestrate teams of employees I wish I had always had the money to hire 😂Now I can easily multi-task and keep on top of all the things right across all businesses, including coding multiple apps and websites at the same time, designing via Photoshop or animating in After Effects whilst searching for the best car insurance policy before I went away – all from the comfort of my own bed whilst watching a movie with my wife. I don't know what I was doing before and I haven't tried any other similar platforms out there but I don't really have any reason to do so. Glad to be on board with you for the journey. Keep it up! 👊🏾

Keeping each bot's job, conversations and work together makes sense. Much easier to pick a task back up when those things stay in one place. Congrats, Omkar and team!

Can different bots share information with each other when working on a bigger task?

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I’m Omkar, building MausBot with Milind and our open-source contributors.MausBot is a free, open-source Grokbot alternative: your own team of AI bots, in a chat app.We open-sourced MausBot about two hours after Grokbot officially launched. We were already building something similar, and seeing the launch gave us the push to share our work, make it open source, and keep building with the community. The idea behind MausBot is simple: your own team of AI bots, in a chat app. Give each bot a job, choose its model, and keep its conversations and work together. With MausBot, you can:- Run bots in parallel for research, writing, and coding.- Use Claude, Codex, and other supported engines in one app.- Connect tools like GitHub, Gmail, and Slack.- Let bots work on your Mac or a connected cloud desktop, with permissions and approval settings you control. For example, ask one bot to turn customer feedback into a prioritized engineering brief, then ask another to investigate a reported bug in your repository. Review their work and decide what happens next. We’re continuing to build toward that experience, with the code open for anyone to inspect, modify, and contribute to.The app is free and open source under Apache 2.0. Bring a supported AI account or API key; provider fees and limits apply. Paid cloud hosting is optional.Try it: https://mausbot.com Source: https://github.com/milind-soni/O...Community: https://discord.gg/9Wb8MEpXRsWhat’s the first job you’d give your bots? We’d especially love feedback on setup, your first useful task, and what you think we should build next.
