Congratulations on going live, Hannes. Can a partner see the same weekly briefing too, so both parents plan from one list?

You're description is wya too accurate on what I'm dealing with. Excited to try.

Love this. Going to try it. I've been using Instinct and it recommends "Dad" sort of things and tasks, but it's not quite aimed at this need. Do you already have holidays and birthday notifications/brainstorming in place... with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up? Thanks,

Haha crazy product for new dads, gotta a lot of founder dads in my circle, gonna share this with them

The weekly rhythm feels right for something that's meant to help you think ahead. Connecting the calendar to what needs doing before each event is the part I'd want to see in that briefing.

Nice framing, a weekly briefing instead of one more notification feed. The "what you might be missing" part is where this gets hard. How do you decide what is worth surfacing versus noise, and does it learn from what the dad actually acts on? I ask because I am building in the adjacent space of daily check-ins for aging parents, and the same signal-versus-noise problem shows up for the adult kids who are managing it all.

Hey Dads 👋I built Daddy Issues because I kept noticing the same thing in our family:My wife somehow seemed to know what was coming up. What the kids would need. What we should start thinking about now so it wouldn’t become stressful later.I wanted to do that too.I’m an involved dad, but I found thinking ahead surprisingly hard. I’d remember the obvious things, but miss the small connections around them and end up reacting once something was already on the table. That created friction.I didn’t want to be the person saying, “Just tell me what needs doing.” I wanted to already know and take more of that mental load on myself. So I built Daddy Issues. It gives dads a weekly family briefing that connects things like your kids, calendar, responsibilities and previous tasks to surface what you might otherwise only realize later. It’s not about being perfectly organized. It’s about anticipating a little earlier, taking more ownership, and hopefully avoiding some unnecessary arguments along the way. It’s completely free for now, and I’m genuinely curious whether this is useful to other dads too. I’d love to hear what it gets right, what it misses, or what you’d change. ❤️
