I remember trying to achieve something like that for a long time based on some applescript. The product is really well made. and a one time purchase licence. Awesome. Thanks a lot

@theodore_hq Having an issue with the app. After downloading the installer package from the website, double click on the icon, unable to drag the icon to the application folder as it does not show. Only shows the solace icon. Cant open the app or unable to find the files to uninstall it. See scre...

Ran into this gap building outbound for a B2B product, tools told us which companies were looking but never which person to reach. Knowledge flipping that to individual-level tracking through Savant, plus layering in psychographics and tone preferences, means first outreach adapts to the buyer, n...

Weather-aware dark mode is such a smart touch. I always found it annoying that Auto just follows sunset — on overcast winter days it should definitely kick in earlier. Love the one-time purchase + zero telemetry approach too, feels like how Mac utilities should be.

A Pomodoro timer disguised as a desktop pet is honestly such a smart move. I'm building a focus timer myself and the one thing I keep learning is that the hard part isn't the timer, it's making people actually want to use it. Gamifying it with a pet that reacts to your focus sessions? That solves...

Scratching your own itch is the best origin story. As an iOS maker about to launch my first app, I'm already thinking about how obsessively I'll check my revenue on day one.Does CatBar support multiple apps in the same dashboard, or is it one app at a time?

This is going to be dangerous for my productivity. I already check RevenueCat way too often, putting it in the menu bar means I'll never stop. Seriously though, having MRR visible at a glance without opening a dashboard is exactly the kind of tiny quality-of-life thing that adds up. Are you plann...

Hey there, Tim, the founder of CatBar here. I run multiple apps, and needed a way to quickly glance at my revenue stream without taking my phone out. I scratched my own little itch and made CatBar.

Data Methodology & Curation Engine

ROIpad operates a proprietary data aggregation engine that continuously monitors leading B2B tech ecosystems. Instead of relying on lagging SEO metrics or generic keyword tools, we scan deep-technical environments—including high-velocity open-source repositories, peer-reviewed scientific literature, early-stage startup launch platforms, and niche engineering forums—to detect emerging software entities, frameworks, and architectural jargon long before they hit the mainstream.

When a new technical concept is identified, our intelligence layer extracts and standardizes the entity, moving it into our Macro Trend Radar. From there, our system continuously tracks its global encyclopedic search velocity, measuring exact daily pageview momentum to validate whether a niche developer tool is crossing the chasm into broader market adoption.

By bridging Micro-Context (the raw, unfiltered discussions and pain points happening within engineering communities) with Macro-Curiosity (how frequently the broader market seeks to understand the concept globally), we provide SaaS founders and marketers with a highly predictive, data-driven engine for product positioning and category creation.
