Gemini Executive Synthesis
Expanding the hallucination benchmark for the Reverify system. This aims to improve the evaluation and robustness of the anti-hallucination capabilities of AI agents that analyze binaries.
Technical Positioning
Enhancing the rigor and comprehensiveness of hallucination detection and prevention in AI agents. The goal is to move beyond a single, specific prior to cover a broader spectrum of real-world hallucination patterns, thereby strengthening the 'VERIFIED or REFUTED' mechanism and the overall reliability of AI-driven binary analysis.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
The current hallucination benchmark, limited to a single 'prologue prior,' provides an insufficient assessment of Reverify's anti-hallucination capabilities. Expanding this benchmark to include diverse, real-world hallucination patterns—such as memorized crypto constants or guessed struct field offsets—is critical. This initiative directly addresses the need for a more comprehensive 'scorecard' to validate the system's ability to VERIFY or REFUTE claims against actual binary data. For a product positioned on anti-hallucination, a robust and broad benchmark is paramount. It ensures the AI agent's reliability in complex binary analysis scenarios, directly impacting trust and adoption in security and reverse engineering markets where accuracy is non-negotiable. This expansion strengthens the core value proposition by proving efficacy against a wider range of AI failure modes.

Expand the hallucination benchmark beyond the prologue prior
`benchmarks/prologue_prior.py` measures one well-known model prior (the textbook frame-pointer prologue) at one location (entry points). It is a clean probe but not a survey.
Goal: add more prior probes that reflect real hallucination patterns — e.g. memorized crypto constants misidentifying an algorithm, guessed struct field offsets, import/behavior priors — each measured through the verifier with a false-VERIFIED guard. Produce a fuller scorecard.
Help wanted — good way to stress the verifier on real binaries.

Extracted Positioning
Extending the existing hallucination benchmark for Reverify to cover Linux ELF and macOS Mach-O binary formats, beyond the current Windows PE focus.
Validating the cross-platform efficacy of Reverify's anti-hallucination capabilities. By testing against diverse operating system binary formats, the system demonstrates its ability to VERIFY or REFUTE claims consistently across different environments, crucial for broad market adoption in binary analysis.
