A working patched build of DLSS-NR-on-AMD for RX 9060 XT / gfx1200, demonstrating significant performance improvements (13.3% without Frame Generation, double with) and addressing regressions in official builds.

Technical Positioning
The project aims to provide a stable, high-performance DLSS 5 Neural Rendering solution for AMD GPUs, specifically targeting the RX 9060 XT. The goal is to surpass previous performance benchmarks and ensure reliability, particularly concerning 'Inline mode' functionality. The developer is positioning this patched build as a critical reference for future official releases, emphasizing regression prevention.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue reveals a critical development challenge: maintaining stability and performance across diverse AMD GPU architectures while integrating complex rendering technologies. A developer has achieved a 13.3% performance uplift (30 FPS to 34 FPS at 1080p) on the RX 9060 XT, doubling with Frame Generation, by creating a patched build. This highlights the project's potential but also exposes regressions in official releases and persistent issues like 'Inline mode' crashes for some users. The difficulty in safely distributing binaries due to platform restrictions further complicates community-driven development and testing. The market implication is a strong user demand for stable, performant DLSS-NR on AMD, with community efforts actively driving progress where official releases fall short.

🚀 RX 9060 XT / gfx1200 — Working Patch 🎉✨

🔥 Major finding — I now have a working patched build

I strongly recommend taking my latest working patched build as a sample and analyzing it side-by-side with the broken Alpha 0.2.14 build.

The latest patched version is not only working successfully on my RX 9060 XT / gfx1200, but it also performs better than my previous custom patches: approximately 34 FPS at 1080p without Frame Generation, compared with around 30 FPS previously — about a 13.3% performance improvement. With Frame Generation, it reaches approximately double that performance.

This makes the latest build especially valuable as a reference.

If you can analyze the differences between the working sample and the broken official build, identify exactly what changed, and compare the relevant Inline/Interop and synchronization paths, the fix could be properly integrated into the next release and help prevent the same regression from happening again.

I would be happy to provide the patched build and logs for analysis.

Please let me know the safest way to send the binary. I previously received two automatic bans when attempting to upload patched builds, so I cannot safely upload it through the usual method.

Developer Debate & Comments

If anyone with an RX 9060 XT would like to test my latest patched version, please suggest a safe and accessible way to share it so everyone interested can try it. I noticed a significant performance improvement compared with my previous custom patches, so I would really like other RX 9060 XT users to test it and confirm the results. I just need a safe way to distribute the file without triggering another automatic ban.

@vozo34 I'd like to test it, please. The last guy shared his patch through a download link here. I'd also like to ask you if your inline mode is working correctly because mine crashes every time I activate it, and this has been happening since older versions.

As soon as you enter any game, Inline will activate automatically by itself. As for sharing the file, I'll find a way to get it to everyone who's excited to test it.
