Agent autonomy in critical operations (push to main, disk cleanup) within ub-mode.

Technical Positioning
Human oversight and control over agent actions, particularly for irreversible or high-impact operations; clarity in agent instructions.
SaaS Insight & Market Implications
This issue exposes a fundamental tension in agent-driven development: the balance between automation and human control. Granting an agent autonomous 'push to main' and 'reclaim disk' capabilities is perceived as excessive authority, bypassing critical human review and approval processes. This highlights a significant developer pain point: fear of irreversible agent errors and the need for explicit human-in-the-loop mechanisms for high-stakes actions. For B2B SaaS, this implies that agent orchestration platforms must prioritize configurable approval workflows and granular permission controls. Products offering full autonomy without robust guardrails will face adoption barriers, as enterprises demand safety and auditability over unchecked automation.

Two rules let the agent act on its own: push to main and reclaim disk

Thanks for publishing this, the checklist is a good distillation.

Two rules in SKILL.md give the agent authority I would not hand it:

“Commit and Push: Push to the main line at the end.” This tells the agent to push to main without a human looking at the diff. In most setups that is the one step people want to keep for themselves. Suggest: “Commit often. Stop before pushing; the human pushes, or push to a branch and open a PR.”
“Worktree Cleanup: Find what is safe to remove ... then reclaim the disk.” The agent decides what is safe to delete. Suggest making deletion a proposal: list what it would remove and wait for confirmation.

Smaller point: “Attack the Premise” reads as compressed beyond meaning (“count which actors hold the imbalance”). A one-line example would make it usable.

Happy to send a PR for 1 and 2 if you want it in that form.
