WHAT CAN IT DO?
The USPS Mobile app allows you to:
• Check the status of shipments sent using Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Certified Mail®, and certain other delivery services. Nickname your shipments and sign up for text and email alerts to notify you of the delivery status.
• Calculate a Domestic or International Price to determine how much postage you will need when you ship a letter, card, large envelope, or package (limitations apply). Choose retail or online pricing, add any extra services you need, and view the total, too.
• Find USPS® Locations when you need to get to a Post Office™, Self-Service Kiosk (APC®) or collection box with an easy-to-filter locator. The USPS Mobile app uses your device’s GPS to show your closest options on a map, along with their Regular Hours, Special Hours and Last Collection Times, and provides mapped results with driving, walking, or transit directions.
• Look up a ZIP Code™ for any U.S. or Canadian address.
• Schedule a free next-day pickup and have your Letter Carrier pick up Priority Mail®, Priority Mail Express®, Global Express Guaranteed®, or Merchandise Return Services shipments from your home or office during regular mail delivery.
• Request Hold Mail Service while you’re away, and we’ll keep your mail at your local Post Office™ for you to pick up or be delivered by your carrier when you return.
• Scan the barcode on shipping labels with your device’s camera (Note: this function is not available on iPad 1 and iPod Touch models without rear-facing cameras). The app recognizes the shipment and stores the label number, so you can stay on top of delivery status.

Although I appreciate the services of the post offices sometimes the carrier’s don’t get the right mail in the right boxes and appreciate being more mindful that’s all TY!

So I was reading on the Nextdoor app where somebody was really belittling Their mailman and all I could think about is that I get the best service in town the people who deliver my mail always go above and beyond of course I have an extra large mailbox so but apparently I guess people order large stuff and then are upset when it’s stuffed into their mailbox if you’re gonna be ordering packages, I think you should be required to have a larger mailbox. All right that was my soap box vent for the night…

The older black mail lady that delivers has the worst attitude and she zoomed past my house today and didn’t deliver my mail!! And yes I had mail to come today I have informed delivery so I track all my mail. She mad from the other day when it was raining and I had my package set as deliver to front door and she was trying to put my big ole package in the mailbox and it clearly couldn’t fit! She had an attitude. Smh I had my son go get it. Please deliver all packages that need to be delivered on the day of delivery because I do report !!! My daughter was waiting on something important today!! Please stop tomorrow because I’ll have my camera recording. She gets zero stars from me!!

We travelled - put a hold on mail and have confirmation with proper dates. USPS never held the mail. Yea!

Whenever I asked to login it fails to login every single time I have to login separately on a different page then click on the link to be able to actually physically login and see my package

In Informed Delivery, there is no longer a checkbox underneath the photos of the mailpieces to indicate that I didn't receive that piece of mail. When I contacted USPS support to let them know that the checkbox is missing, they replied that I should check the checkbox to let them know that I didn't receive the piece of mail! Really...after I just informed you that the checkbox is no longer there! Pathetic. There is a setting to request an email to inform me that my mail has been delivered. They rarely send the email even though I have that setting turned on.

Something happened in the past 6 months that really made this app unreliable. Can’t modify scheduled pickups because it doesn’t even show scheduled pickups or pickup history anymore, pickup confirmation gives incorrect information after the pickup has been made.

Overall this is a very good app keeps track of my packages with up to date information. Would like to see the ability to link with my address, so packages automatically populate, like UPS and FEDEX. Also would be nice to have the ability to nickname packages so it makes it easier to identify where they are coming from.

My informed delivery was suspended because we changed our address. This site tells me to enter a validation code, but that was never sent to me. I went to the post office, and they tell me that my account is validated. I still can’t get on to informed delivery.
