Upon downloading the app I was so hopeful and optimistic that I could further my journey with God with something so convenient and accessible like my phone. I was scared it would be behind a paywall as I was highly interested in this app. I took the survey and it got me even more more drawn in, I was reading everything and it was all things that aligned exactly with the reason I downloaded the app in the first place. Unfortunately, at the end of the survey I was met with the paywall. it’s really disgusting that they exploit the word of god for a quick buck and give hope to people only to find out it isn’t accessible. In this economy not everyone can afford $60 yearly for a subscription, myself included. Aside from that I find it extremely exploitative to the bible.. would Jesus have approved of this? Who knows, but it certainly wasn’t in his practice to charge people money to hear him spread gospel. Don’t waste your time and download this app, pick up a bible instead it’s most times free at church and there’s no greedy people there (hopefully) exploiting the word of god for a quick buck.
