could use more sounds but it does help me sleep. I love that you can have it over lap with my spotify and harmonize the 2.

The sounds are amazing. However, the App is a bit clunky. It will sometimes stop playing in the background. And I just recently discovered that it will not easily work in offline mode even though I have several sounds downloaded. It kept crashing when I tried to play one of my downloaded sounds. Not great when you’re in an airplane.

While I don’t regret subscribing for one year, I don’t think I will renew for a second year. It’s been several months since new sounds were added (well, some white noise static sounds were added but those aren’t why I signed up). But the soundscapes that do exist are lovely. I think if I could pay a flat fee for unlimited access to my favorites AND choose my own player — kind of like buying a song on iTunes —I would do that.

I love this app but it does not work on Mac Sequoia 15.5. It crashes.

Every time I try to play something it pops up a message saying I can’t turn notifications on, then stops what I am listening to. II rarely turn notifications on for any app and certainly not one for sound. This is on iPhone 14.

This review is more for the app than the soundscapes. The No internet Connection pops up all the time. I do have internet connection. Vast majority of the time I can’t stream any sound without the message. So downloading is the only option. Also downloads fail all the time. And sometimes even when attempting to play downloaded soundscapes it will still pop the message which stops the sound and dumps you back into the app. There’s also been numerous times I set the sound and the timer and go to bed. 3 minutes later for no reason it stops playing. This could happen 3 times in 15 minutes. Then I gotta get up go to my phone and start it up again. All that being said these soundscapes are remarkable. I’ve been startled numerous times while working thinking there’s a bird or an animal somewhere in my vicinity. I’d also request that there be volume control. The ability to play a soundscape while listing to a podcast is amazing. But sometimes the podcast is to loud and there’s no way to adjust one or the other. Love the app and hope there’s an update in the near future. Thanks! I am a subscriber and I’ll give it the year. I really want to like the app. But it’s got some rough edges.

The “Balance” and “Universe” settings cannot be adjusted on my Apple TV. I’m using tvOS 18.3.1. Please help.

I just keep getting “no internet connection” errors and the music stops.

Internet is just fine. I’ve tried multiple places, and run speed tests. The “internet” connection is just fine for everything else.

They sound amazing, but once I paid, I’m not getting access to anything.

I’ll preface this review with the reason I’m here, it needs an update. The ability to play the soundscapes with the app minimized is broken.

I use this app almost all day everyday. The subscription price is worth it for me to have better quality soundscapes than one can find on YouTube and there’s no ads. A full download option would be really nice. I would pay a fair price to be able to save my favorite ones.

I’m hoping whatever tech issues have come up can be resolved soon so I can use this app again!

This is a great app that would greatly benefit from sound previews for all tracks and the ability to purchase individual soundscapes. Maybe 2.99-4.99 per track. Letting users pay for and keep forever what they want. Also a lifetime membership option that is *reasonably* priced. A lot of people are tired of the subscription model. Eventually they’ll get tired of that extra expense and the product is long forgotten. Allowing ppl actual ownership keeps them coming back years to come because they don’t feel like they’re being taken advantage of.

Absolutely love this app!! The soundscapes are amazing!! I love that it’s not just nature and real life sounds but also incorporates fantasy world soundscapes as well! The only request I have for future updates is the ability to create a play list.

The sounds are terrific in this app, would prefer a lifetime subscription option because I hate subscriptions. That’s up to the developer and how they need to monetize this app to make money.

With that said, the absolutely needs a now playing button and for tracks to automatically start once clicked. I don’t like having to press play after clicking a track. And without the now playing, if I leave a track to browse others the sound just abruptly stops.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised. $8+/month or $55+/ year. Apple really should include this info on the download page so those of us who are cost conscious can just not waste our time.
You get 3 free audio samples. Just 3, and none are very interesting imo. I’m actually ok with paying for individual audio environments, but there’s no option to pay for them separately. Nor is there any kind of one time purchase option.
For those willing to pay a monthly or annual fee, I hope you enjoy your purchase. I will not be joining you.

There are some good sound bases here. But of the couple dozen I checked out, there was some distracting element that wrecked it. Too many birds. So many I halfway expected to hear them in the space scene.

A good base app. Well designed. But you can get more useful sounds for less with other apps.

I haven't been able to get green sound to work for months. I use it for my autistic meltdowns and overloads, and no other app works better than Odysound. I'm super disappointed. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, I have full signal, and I've tried reaching out to support, and haven't gotten responses. Three sounds because some sounds still work and the app is nice. Would get 5 if all the sounds worked without issues.
LilDip17 • Sep 26, 2024 ★ 1
would pay a flat rate for all the sounds, not a monthly subscription. greedy company.

Pretty good app! Good sound placement that creates good environments or experiences.

this is my entry to win a lifetime subscription. **Title:** *Echoes of Solaria* --- **Scene 1: Arrival at Solaria** * **Ambient Sound:** Gentle hum of the spacecraft as it descends through the atmosphere, transitioning into a soft whoosh of wind as the vessel touches down on the planet's surface. * **Planet’s Atmosphere:** The air is filled with a soft, melodic whistling, like a distant flute played by the wind through alien trees. A low, resonant hum pulses from the ground, blending with the gentle breeze, creating an otherworldly harmony. * **Fauna:** Unfamiliar creatures vocalize in the distance—a series of rhythmic chirps, resembling a blend of birdsong and electronic tones, with an underlying gentle purring that echoes through the vast landscape. * **Flora:** Rustling leaves with a crystalline quality, tinkling like soft chimes when the wind blows, adding an ethereal layer to the soundscape. **Scene 2: First Encounter with the Solarians** * **Ambient Sound:** Soft footfalls on the spongy, moss-like ground, which gives a faint, pleasant squish with each step. A low murmur of running water nearby suggests a stream. * **Solarians' Arrival:** The Solarians' footsteps are barely audible, a delicate padding like that of soft-soled shoes on grass. They communicate with a series of harmonious vocalizations—a blend of choral hums, gentle whistles, and soft clicks that resonate like a soothing lullaby. * **Fauna:** A curious animal, resembling a small, fluffy orb, emits a series of high-pitched giggles, adding a playful element to the environment. * **Communication:** The Solarians’ speech has a melodic quality, with tones rising and falling in a rhythmic pattern that mimics the wind. Occasionally, their voices blend with the sounds of the planet. **Scene 3: Exploring the New Ecosystem** * **Ambient Sound:** As you move deeper into the forest, the soundscape shifts—droplets of dew fall from oversized leaves with a resonant plop, echoing in the still air. A distant waterfall roars softly, its sound cushioned by the thick foliage. * **Fauna:** Strange, bird-like creatures take flight, their wings flapping with a soft, leathery sound, followed by a chorus of deep, throaty calls—like a mix between a lion’s roar and a whale’s song, yet oddly soothing. * **Flora:** Flowers open with a soft sigh, releasing a fine mist that hisses gently as it disperses. When touched, these plants emit a gentle hum, almost like the strumming of a harp, varying in pitch based on their size. * **Interaction:** The Solarians demonstrate their connection to nature, their movements causing the environment to respond—a symphony of sounds emerges, with each step or gesture eliciting a specific tone, creating an interactive, musical dialogue between the species and their surroundings. **Scene 4: Resting in the Solarian Village** * **Ambient Sound:** The village is a tranquil place where the sound of wind chimes made from delicate shells and bones drifts on the air. A distant, continuous drone suggests a communal space where the Solarians gather. * **Daily Life:** Soft, rhythmic drumming from a ceremonial gathering is accompanied by the harmonious hum of Solarians singing, a soothing blend of human-like voices and alien tonalities that rise and fall like waves. * **Fauna:** Domesticated creatures, resembling a cross between a dog and a large rabbit, move around the village, their contented murmurs and soft footfalls adding to the comforting ambiance. * **Nightfall:** As night falls, bioluminescent plants begin to glow, emitting a gentle hum in harmony with the rising moon, a large, iridescent orb that casts a soft, blue light. The sounds of the village quieten, leaving only the peaceful chorus of night creatures—soft croaks, low buzzes, and the distant echo of a melancholic howl—lulling you into restful sleep…

Hard to find a good one, waste of time. Sounds good, has a lot of potential as usual these people just dont use that potential like they should, its lame.

The sound design for the 3 free audios are great! But I was upset to find that another app is clambering onto the subscription train ride. I only downloaded the app for one sound I saw advertised (turns out it’s behind the paywall) and would honestly be more willing to spend money on here if I could preview and “buy” individual audios. I get it tho the artists have to be paid, but 56$ for a year of using maybe 4 different audios? It’s a bit much
