like the concepts and vision, but small annoying bugs are like marmots, keeps popping here and there. appreciate the honest update changes logs indicating the fixed bugs and improvements, unlike some other apps always saying “ fixed some bugs “, but as for orion, it has gone too far. the change logs gives unconfident feeling.

Found this easier to use than the Kagi Safari extension. You gotta change the icon, though. Icon makes this seem like an AI forward browser, and it’s not!

Since the 1.5 update yesterday browser has not worked. Pages don’t load.

The browser is super clean looking and has ad blocking as good as brave and small but satisfying settings I haven’t seen on any other browser but I haven’t seen the ability to customize any menus like the ones that pop up with the three dot button and that’s kinda frustrating because they display the extensions there and some of them I don’t really need to be looking at also my biggest problem with the browser is that it’s missing the ability to pop up with the search bar as soon as the app is opened witch is something so small but a feature I love on other browsers overall though it’s the best browser I’ve ever seen

I was using it for a while and it was great. Recently, not so great. Crashes every so often, YouTube website will sometimes freeze or won't respond to input. Hopefully it gets better. As for right now, it's off my phone. It crashed and didn't save the last two hours of browsing history.

Agonizingly slow loading by times. Screen goes black at random at which time you have to reload for the next 5 minutes.

The extension were a big draw for me, allowing me to use my favorite apps and websites without distractions, but I love how this browser is designed with such thoughtfulness and care for the consumer. My favorite example of this is by far the ability to play videos without the browser open. Many companies would put these features behind a paywall, which is why I wanted to try this browser out in the first place.
P.S., Some of my favorite extensions are Google AI blockers and Shorts/Reels blockers. These genuinely improve my daily life and I'm so pleased I get to use them on mobile!

If you value your sanity, your work and your time or Orion is definitely not the browser for you.
Total garbage ram management. The browser constantly crashes and forces and Auto refresh, immediately vaporizes all the work that you’ve just done.

i struggle to understand why no other ios browser has implemented extensions the way this one has. there’s some areas i’d like to see more development in but all in all i can’t complain that much as this browser is doing things no other is on this platform

youtube ad blockers are not turned on by default, which was my only reason for downloading this.
Even with youtube ad blockers on, youtube behavior is super clunky and awful, full screen view screws up CONSTANTLY.

Orion is a very promising browser, but it's still in beta and is still very buggy. I've decided to put it on the back shelf for a while till they get things ironed out. I had tons of issues with bookmark sync between desktop, phone, and iPad. I really do like the concept--ads are blocked, it's very fast, and the interface is almost exactly like Safari.

Unfortunately, I made an extremely simple extension for this browser. It is capable of reading it since it loads the name and notes what permissions it needs, but then it doesn't actually install or work.
Given that this is sort of the only differentiator of this browser, I have to give it one star. No point to having it.

So it just started randomly crashing for no reason, reinstalling did nothing, and I generally I have zero idea what the problem is…

Used to be my default browser but the iPhone app has been working horribly lately and no one ever responds to feedback on the support website. Had to switch back to Safari.

As others have review the ad block isn’t perfect and recently I’ve had another huge problem. All my tab groups have been getting deleted basically every time I close the app. I’ve lost probably nearly 100 tabs trying to figure this out while still using it. Fix tab groups or allow me to open all recently closed tabs and this probably goes back to 5 star.
Because of that I cannot use this browser.
