We have been experiencing ongoing issues with the app that are significantly impacting daily operations. The app frequently logs users out, and attempts to sign back in often fail due to incorrect verification code errors, even when the correct code is entered.

Additionally, there are recurring call functionality problems. At times, we are unable to hear the other party during outgoing or incoming calls, despite the call appearing to connect or ring. This requires repeatedly closing and reopening the app throughout the day to restore functionality.

Voicemail is also inconsistent. Messages are often routed to email rather than appearing in the app’s voicemail inbox, and they do not reliably populate within the system.

Overall, the app has proven to be unreliable, and we hope the company considers transitioning to a more stable and dependable platform.

Horrible customer support, cannot get anyone on the phone. Unable to text pictures for over a year at one point. Multiple user cannot share info or contact names.

When it works, it’s great. But I can’t dial out half the time and have to have the other person call me back. It’s been a regular problem that I haven’t been able to solve.

Vonage was attentive bringing our business on board but has been an awful experience trying to get out.

When we decided to move on to another provider, our business followed everything in our agreement to the letter in terms of cancelation notice, but Vonage created new hoops not in the agreement that have resulted in an additional month charge ($500+) that they refuse to refund. Our attempts to work with them on this been a very unpleasant death loop. (Referring us to different departments, taking no responsibility, ending up with people we’d already talked to, making up more hoops, etc.)

Be forewarned: the sales experience may be pleasant, but you will not be able to leave Vonage without great pain and difficulty.

On top of that, understand that Vonage provides no way to export your contacts or any other information you save within the app. (Like the roach motel, you can check info in, but you cannot check info out.)

Our experience has confirmed that we made the right decision to leave Vonage. As a warning to others, we recommend thinking long and hard before signing up, and taking extra time to consider other providers.

Again, it was never a great experience while we were in it, but not all that awful until we actually decided to leave — then it’s been really awful. I strongly suspect that the relatively high ratings here are from those who haven’t tried to get out yet.

Even the simplest things like getting more users and adding more numbers (so I can give them more business) is damn near impossible. Switching to RingCentral or someone else as soon as I’m able.

I constantly have dropped calls randomly in the middle of a conversation. If you are on the phone with someone and another call comes in, that will drop your current call as well. Additionally, the messaging system does not work at all.

My app all of a sudden no longer ring when getting incoming calls. Very annoying because it’s supposed to be for work but had to work when I can’t hear my device

The app no longer chimes when a new message or call is received. I have to keep the app open and make it the active app else I will miss any new calls or messages

App keeps asking to access my camera even though the camera is enabled

I’ve been a customer for close to 3 years and I have NEVER enjoyed all of the features I pay for. I have 3 landlines and for more than a year only 1 works properly (if we’re lucky). We can’t ever speak with a live agent and go back and forth with endless, helpless emails. Currently our sms have not been working for nearly a week.
All of these issues have been reported however, not resolved. Great features if you can access them. Horrible company!!!

We have had no working phones in our office for over a month, which is completely unacceptable for a business phone provider. Vonage has been unable to resolve the issue despite multiple calls and support tickets. When we can get through to someone, they are unable to fix the problem, and we are sent in circles with no resolution.
Reliable communication is critical for any business, and Vonage has failed us entirely. We are losing time, productivity, and credibility with our clients because of their lack of support and follow-through. I would not recommend Vonage Business to any company that depends on their phones to operat

My voicemails never load on this app after certain updates and I have to go onto my computer’s app to listen to them. It’s really inconvenient and needs to be fixed.

I used to not have any issues but in the last few months this app has gone downhill. It is constantly dropping calls (not due to service), any time I get a call while I’m on a call it disconnects the current call whether I hit any options or not on the new call. Newest issue with the latest update - cannot listen to my voicemails or save new contacts. Absolutely and utterly horrible for a business phone line.

I understand why you feel you need to have a security feature of automatic logout after inactivity. But there should be an opt feature. I’m not a fan of having to login multiple times a day if I am not using the app.

Service is terrible and customer service is worse I want to cancel and was told that I can’t or would lose $
I have the service for two weeks and I’m stuck apparently for 3 years - awful
