We use this app at work all of the time ,if you are creative you can customize it to do a lot .It functions reliably and the guys find it useful.

Usually works good, very customizable. There is a bug that causes trouble, it will delete your information randomly. Not so convenient to call customer and get information you’ve already asked for and entered in front of them

There is a crash problem. The app functions are very basic at best, especially the field options. UI is what you get and the 5 form themes cannot be adjusted. Online resources is basic and glazes some of the basics. Text fields editing appears to be limited to the 1 font, using a single color and style choice. They limit the table field to subscription while their competitor Tap Forms offers it in the same priced paid app. Also you cannot adjust field layers so that fillable portions are on top without deleting and re-adding fields constantly. Online documentation and videos seem to be incomplete with even the basics. Like what is the PDF Text box option for when you can enter text whether it’s on or off.
To be fair a lot of use cases do not require a lot of features, so this app might be enough to meet your goals. I am reviewing the paid and free app (not the subscription services or customer support). So I recommend trying the free one first with one month of subscription ($2) before committing to paid (or sticking with subscription). They do bug fix updates so I imagine the crash problem should disappear. They also do not collect data which is nice.

At least offer a free trial if you’re going to be missing a basic doc import feature. Terrible app

I’ve used FormConnect for over 2 years. No out of nowhere my app is crashing and I can’t open it. Please fix this so I give higher star rating.

I was able to build several simple forms within the first hour. Forms can be locked and automatically emailed- never lose critical info!

The app is having issues on the iPad and iPhone. Numerous crashes. When signing you can no longer see the eraser button or one button which has always showed up in the past. When sending notes (even after locking signature) the signature will disappear.

I’ve been looking for an offline form app, and this works wonderfully. After creating multiple records offline, I can export as individual PDFs, or run some numbers in excel. I had a few minor questions, and the developer was quick to respond and assist.

The worst app I have ever had the misfortune of downloading. Developer blames Apple and Apple blames the developer. Either way we all lose. I can’t believe my company would even consider this a viable product.

This program is very easy to use. It’s nice to be able to create different folders and design the forms to fit my needs. I love this app!

Very buggy, labor intensive and lacks a good user interface. Not ready for prime time, feels more like beta test software.

This is easy to setup. My only thought would be they need to be able sync in the cloud for access by other devices. That would make this great.

I am using the app to create inspection reports for my team.
So far I love the flexibility and ease of customization.
Only drawback I see is that ir currently doesn't appear to support multiple device syncing. This feature is a must, as almost every user has more than one device (ie iPhone, iPad, etc).

After reviewing and reading reviews for over a month I came upon FormConnect and was instantly excited about the prospect of capturing the data I needed, without having to pay for things I didn’t need. It did take a bit to get started and when I had a question I submitted a customer service request. I received a call the same day and Steve spent over an hour going through the questions I had, and the functions he felt would be helpful. I cant wait to start using it because I know my clients will find the process much more comfortable and seamless.

It’s a great app for designing forms! But it’s has some issues for me.
1. App is not user friendly if using with multiple devices. For example if you like working on an iPad in the office & iPhone when out on the road the app will not sync. You basically have to email the data entered on device(1) to device(2). Once you start working on device(2) the data on device(1) will be old and you’ll have to email the newer data on device(2) back to device(1). So basically you will have to keep sending things back and forth to yourself very often. This is easy until you forget to send something once, then you will have a large list of data to scroll through to find out which one you didn’t send.
2. If you add a record and use a dropbox drive you can’t really update that file. The app will just keep creating a new file for the same record in your dropbox drive every time you export it.
3. File lookup. If you keep records using numeric file names you will find that the app dose not keep things in numerical order. After about 100 files it’s getting very hard to look up file and to keep the data up-to-date on two devices.
4. If you plan using this as your only invoice tool... forget it!
You can create excellent invoices but the app does not have a feature to mark an invoice as PAID or overdue. Also you have to get out the good old calculator to total up all your invoices manually.

“Just wanted to send a note of praise for your program and to let you know that it is one of the best apps made for the iPhone if not the best. I’ve used form generation software on my home computers and laptops for years to generate forms, like Fast Forms and Informed Designer and find this app virtually equivalent in its versatility, only much cheaper. It’s a valuable productivity tool that has saved me time and money, enhanced my productivity at work and well worth its price. I highly recommend this app!”

I have been using FormConnect pro for a while to capture client notes and recently encountered a freezing glitch. I contacted support and was blown away by how fast they responded to me, first by email and then followed up with a phone call. Once they understood what was happening they quickly went to work to resolve the issue. I am very impressed since the only other time I have had that fast of a response was when I utilized a program a sister built for me!
