Manus AI led my Facebook account to be suspended when I was trying to extract a Meta ads report using its own tools and Manus Ai official connector.

I love this app as a tool. But it stole over 60,000 credit credits from my dad. I pay the monthly membership and it never gives me my free daily credits not once! I’ve been writing code and building systems for over 17 years. And this thing spins in circles to burn up your credits. Then when you reach out to customer service, they don’t do nothing. They don’t reimburse you for your credits. It’s terrible. I’m canceling my subscription this month. Grok is the best AI out right now. I really did love this one and I had high hopes for it, but their customer service is terrible.!

I’ve upgraded twice to get more credits and keeps asking me to upgrade- no; I’m not spending more than $70 per month for simple tasks. When other AI tools (Claude for example) cannot answer to a specific prompt; ask you if an alternative would be ok. Manus doesn’t ask. Uses credits to answer “ITS WAY” which is pretty useless… I’ve specifically stated in the prompt: “access to my IG account and …”
and I ran out of credits AGAIN because for some reasons it could not connect with my IG (even if I previously connected it) and ran a complete research OUTSIDE IG (totally useless for me, since I’ve asked to analyze my IG insights). For the next time, I know I have to add “PLEASE DO NOT ACT IF ONE OF MY REQUESTS IS NOT FULFILLED”. Lesson learned- though; it still smells like a SCAM. Do not pay for it!!!! Claude is much better: simply download Claude chrome extension and you’ll have MUCH BETTER RESULTS PAYING 1/8

Asked for a custom social media post after agreeing to pay $40 a month. Didn’t give me one single item before asking for me to upgrade. Don’t waste your time.

I have been a subscriber for years to Manus and it has been very powerful. However, recently I have noticed that the machines often get caught in loops and spend thousands upon thousands upon thousands of credits in a short period of time. With this specific instance, the machine literally completed nothing and only went backwards in sophistication of my software.
The worst part is that the customer service reps at Meta will not answer your questions. They will not answer your emails or your chats and no one will ever issue you a refund.
The old ownership was much better and would issue refunds and gave free credits away all the time.
This new madness is just designed to spend as many credits as possible. It feels super insulting since I actually have two Manus accounts and spend hundreds of dollars a month on my subscription.
They do not care how much money you spend they don’t care about having subscribers. There are better alternatives out there who will be responsive and understanding and helpful.
